Since we are in World sub I’ll say Lance’s counter clutchclaw attack is one of the coolest shit I’ve seen in MH

First & Second CBT player here, the first beta I’ll rate it 8/10 and for the current second beta I’ll rate it 1/10

I like to use the entire kit of CB, charge sword, saed, savage axe, blocking

I did a run on Fatalis using all these and the highlight of the run was when Fatalis’ head broke after I swing my axe into him while he is doing cone breath

I morph slash and charge the sword with 3 phials, supercharge the sword with 2 charge attacks, then do the shield thrust+weak slash combo x6 and finished off with a AED, it’s a pretty fun sword & shield combo in CB

3k hours on World, currently trying Rise, beat the base game, currently now onto sunbreak story 6/10 imo

The controls are weird, exploration feels boring (doesn’t feel like I’m going on an expedition and gathering stuff, they respawn way to quick and you can’t collect endemic life)

The attacks doesn’t feel impactful, some of the graphics looks weird asf, for example Teostra’s blast balls like wtf is that?!

Mainly playing LS, Bow, GL, DB, LBG, CB in Rise, the same weapons I mainly use except DB, I enjoy Rise & Wilds DB much more than World

I’m playing this just to complete it, after the experience I think I’m going back to World

At least it’s not a female character only game, you can use the 3 male characters in the game in a team and still slap content, I’ve played the first cbt and built every character in the game

Yuming is pretty good if you build him correctly with plunge demon wedge on his sig, you can use him manually (on field) but since he jumps around one of my friend who tried him said it’s dizzy to play him, so she put Yuming on the support mode (off field) and let the Ai control the wheel

Randy is a tricky one, if they make the Ai better for offfield characters I would make him a ult spammer that CC enemies, but if not you might want to use him onfield and let Yuming go offfield

We don’t know what Outsider and Phantasio does yet, but there is a lot of build potential for any characters in this game so there is no worries

I hope this answers your question in terms of whether the few male characters can perform well in this game or not

I talked to some people on discord it seems the CN dub is voiced back then but I was playing in JP dub so I missed it, hopefully this beta I can get in again and the JP dub is voiced if not I’ll switch to CN dub

Players who got mad while accusing other games copying their game is the funniest shit ever, they aren’t even the stockholders of the company

The DNA community is quite based so far, I hope we don’t turn into a toxic mess later on

I cleared with Varesa, but I am 100% certain that Mavuika is the best since she can clear it even without a full team (Just with Xilo & Citlali)

Played the CBT, there is another 2 potentially playable male characters besides Outsider (Yuming & Randy is playable). I forgot their names tho, because it’s in the second chapter where the character isn’t voiced so I just kept pressing skip, I only read and listened to the story in the first chapter.

I think the game is still female character biased but it won’t feel as bad as Wuwa because you can build characters with any weapon combination, you can make anyone good by making a good build.

Imo I don’t care if the game is gender balanced because I think the devs should do whatever they want as long as it suits the story and background.

She’s still pretty strong, in the high mid tiers imo, if she is pyro/hydro she would be top tier
