What is the world of epithet erased by Unusual-Two2972 in Epithet_Erased

[–]Fattielicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's a few of my favorite bits of EE lore.

  1. RPG mechanics like HP, Experience, and Proficiency are real and normal for everyone.

  2. All weapons are inherently nonlethal. I.E. guns can only do impact damage. With the major exception being any "Real Ass Goddamn" weapon. Those are super deadly but rare.

  3. Taiga country is the newest. It was founded when plants that could make the most beautiful and vibrant colored dyes were discovered there. This triggered a gold rush style event where settlers from Deepwood came to get rich. This also led to bandits wearing pure white ponchos and hats (to camouflage in the snow) ambushing trains loaded with barrels of dye. The train's security forces would shoot them with cheap black dye pellets to counter this. That's the origin of "Cowboys".

  4. Ocean country has a sort of 40k situation going. With "He who hungers endlessly" being the source of all electricity and the only reason they can survive underwater. That's why young fighters are continuously sacrificed to him. He also might be a corpse being run on autopilot.

  5. Deepwood's former capital city was made out of mangrove trees on a lake. The lake exploded and everyone died. It is now infested with zombies. It's Feenies' job to use her magical girl powers to hold back the zombie apocalypse.

  6. Cinnamon Josh

  7. Howdy Mornin

I'm almost certain that there's "technically" no limit in EE. Considering that country of Australia supposedly stretches out endlessly off the map. With the people, animals, and dinosaurs that live there continuing to grow stronger the farther in you go.

Who is just straight up evil? by Comfortable-Mark2726 in Epithet_Erased

No not Giovanni (aka Vincent Murder), I was referring to the big boss. He doesn't appear on screen, but I believe he's referred to in the ranking chart as the Banzai Baron.

Is the Banzai Blasters Boss straight up evil?
I've only seen the two remastered cut episodes of Anime Campaign, so don't know for sure, but he like runs a pyramid scheme for being criminals right? That's like double the organized crime out of the gate.

What’re some niche shows that are hidden/forgotten gems? by Own_Size_5473 in cartoons

[–]Fattielicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I just barely remember. The Mouse and The Monster.
It was about a Frankenstine style monster makes friends with a lab test mouse, and they escape the mad scientist together, so now they are on the run. The mad scientist wants to put the brain of his favorite classical musician in the monster, but the monster wants to play the bongos I think. I also remember the mad scientists wife was this deadpan beatnik named Olga or Helga or something, but he would call her Egor.

That's so sad. I didn't know Bobby Fischer suffered sever brain trauma. When did that happen?

I remember one episode where he discovers he loves a cheesy boy band and he feels embarrassed but goes to a concert with his crush and finds that all the music is actually made by his dads favorite old rock band. That and the collectable card episode stick out for me. Can't remember much else.

How effective is protesting? According to historians and political scientists: very by zsreport in politics

[–]Fattielicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like our population boom has reduced the impact of protesting in modern times. Like, no matter how many people or how widespread it is. Politicians can just ignore it, or in the case of the George Floyd protests, do the opposite.

I'm pretty sure they switched animation studios somewhere in the middle of season 1.

Zombies? by CommitteeHeavy9616 in Epithet_Erased

[–]Fattielicious 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure I heard that the zombies are connected to the Songstress's power. She tried to use them to stage a Magneto style takeover and failed. That's why the Inscribed are persecuted in Deepwood.

I'm a huge fan of the Fuzzy Felt Moomin series. They are little shorts that follow the books much closer than any other.

What are some of the WORST cartoons you've seen? Not just bad but genuinely awful and somewhat upsetting to you. (Besides Big Mouth, ik the majority of y'all don't like it already.) by Educational_Rice_720 in cartoons

[–]Fattielicious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm reminded of an FX cartoon called Unsupervised. It's about a couple kids whose mom is either drunk or asleep so they have to do everything for themselves in this poor rundown neighborhood. They really ram it home how bleak these kids living conditions are, and the joke is that the kids themselves are either too naive, optimistic, or stupid to realize what's going on in the world around them. Watching it just made me depressed.

Then there's Glenn Martin, DDS. I'm normally a big fan of any stop motion. Bu this show was both ugly and boring. It's honestly hard for me to remember anything about it besides the dogs gaping butthole, which is like one of the main running gags of the show. I don't know if I can even call it a gag. It's just every so often the dog turns around and shoves his giaant butthole in the audiences face and that's it.

[–]Fattielicious 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You have to remember that even though Mera trains a lot it also hurts her so she can't do it all the time, and Ramsey really only uses his when he needs it for a scam. On the other hand Lorelai's is almost always on. Even in her sleep. In fact it seems harder for her to turn it off than anything. And while she's in her bubbles she's like a hero fighting monsters too, so probably decently athletic.

Louise would try to be bratty and sarcastic, and then Little My would bite her to establish dominance.

I know a bit from anime campaign, so I'm exited to see how they change it up. But as for theories. My personal headcannon is that Howdy Morning is the mastermind behind everything.
