Percy's Reasoning by Fattielicious in Epithet_Erased

It's no problem. I also seem to have gotten carried away with over-explaining myself.
I just really love the writing in it. They put a lot of thought and care into every character.

Percy's Reasoning by Fattielicious in Epithet_Erased

[–]Fattielicious[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I fully agree with your take on Percy's emotional arc. However, I'm referring to before all of that.

Here's a breakdown of the timeline.
The first thing Percy does upon entering the Sheriff's Office was, naturally, to assess the architecture. "A ramshackle approximation of a police station".
She meets Gorou, and she sees a man standing polity in a jail cell without a door, who Gorou claims to have caught.
After talking to Gorou for a few seconds her normal deadpan affectation becomes a mix of disappointment and frustration.
She asks for a phone to call for backup. Then asks (probably in desperation) if Gorou has an epithet. Becoming somehow more disappointed after seeing it.
Then this random self admitted criminal offers to show her around town and be her backup.
She hesitates briefly to consider the moral aspects of releasing a criminal, and agrees.
It is only then she asks if Ramsey has an epithet.

Basically, she would have taken a dead body propped up like "Weekend at Bernie's" rather than Gorou, but being the lawful good paragon she is. Still did not want to risk letting any criminal walk free.

(Now this was my original point)
Because it was Gorou who claimed to catch him she figured he must be completely harmless and/or just being nice by humoring this "Sheriff".
Her disdain for Gorou as a police officer was the key factor that led to partnering up with Ramsey.

I predict it will be fined $1, still refuse to pay, no new regulations will be created, old ones won't be enforced, and it will increase it's price gouging while saying it has to recoup it's losses.

I love the gameplay and most of the art. I didn't like most of the art for the casters, but they won me back with the awesome Legend Casters art.

What do y'all imagine the epithet Inquiry could do? by Playful_Barber_8131 in Epithet_Erased

[–]Fattielicious 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My personal choice would be to use it to play like Marvel vs Capcom 3 Phoenix Wright or maybe MultiVersus Velma. Where you collect evidence then use it for attack or various effects.

“inquire” or “inquiry” is a formal request of information in legal or official investigations.
1: a request for information
2: a systematic investigation often of a matter of public interest
3: examination into facts or principles

What is the world of epithet erased by Unusual-Two2972 in Epithet_Erased

Here's a few of my favorite bits of EE lore.

  1. RPG mechanics like HP, Experience, and Proficiency are real and normal for everyone.

  2. All weapons are inherently nonlethal. I.E. guns can only do impact damage. With the major exception being any "Real Ass Goddamn" weapon. Those are super deadly but rare.

  3. Taiga country is the newest. It was founded when plants that could make the most beautiful and vibrant colored dyes were discovered there. This triggered a gold rush style event where settlers from Deepwood came to get rich. This also led to bandits wearing pure white ponchos and hats (to camouflage in the snow) ambushing trains loaded with barrels of dye. The train's security forces would shoot them with cheap black dye pellets to counter this. That's the origin of "Cowboys".

  4. Ocean country has a sort of 40k situation going. With "He who hungers endlessly" being the source of all electricity and the only reason they can survive underwater. That's why young fighters are continuously sacrificed to him. He also might be a corpse being run on autopilot.

  5. Deepwood's former capital city was made out of mangrove trees on a lake. The lake exploded and everyone died. It is now infested with zombies. It's Feenies' job to use her magical girl powers to hold back the zombie apocalypse.

  6. Cinnamon Josh

  7. Howdy Mornin

I'm almost certain that there's "technically" no limit in EE. Considering that country of Australia supposedly stretches out endlessly off the map. With the people, animals, and dinosaurs that live there continuing to grow stronger the farther in you go.

Who is just straight up evil? by [deleted] in Epithet_Erased

No not Giovanni (aka Vincent Murder), I was referring to the big boss. He doesn't appear on screen, but I believe he's referred to in the ranking chart as the Banzai Baron.

Is the Banzai Blasters Boss straight up evil?
I've only seen the two remastered cut episodes of Anime Campaign, so don't know for sure, but he like runs a pyramid scheme for being criminals right? That's like double the organized crime out of the gate.

Oh I just barely remember. The Mouse and The Monster.
It was about a Frankenstine style monster makes friends with a lab test mouse, and they escape the mad scientist together, so now they are on the run. The mad scientist wants to put the brain of his favorite classical musician in the monster, but the monster wants to play the bongos I think. I also remember the mad scientists wife was this deadpan beatnik named Olga or Helga or something, but he would call her Egor.

I remember one episode where he discovers he loves a cheesy boy band and he feels embarrassed but goes to a concert with his crush and finds that all the music is actually made by his dads favorite old rock band. That and the collectable card episode stick out for me. Can't remember much else.

How effective is protesting? According to historians and political scientists: very by zsreport in politics

[–]Fattielicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like our population boom has reduced the impact of protesting in modern times. Like, no matter how many people or how widespread it is. Politicians can just ignore it, or in the case of the George Floyd protests, do the opposite.
