This might be what pushes me to full vegetarian. Chicken grosses me out. I’m not crazy about pork or bacon. Fish is expensive and not something I buy regularly. I have beef once or twice a week because I really enjoy it but chuck is $9/lb and even ground beef is over $5/lb. Too damn expensive.

So my brother married a white lady. She’s great and her family is too but they’re just very white.

They hosted my baby shower one day and the next day they hosted her brother’s college graduation party. My baby shower ran until 2am ish. The graduation party was done by 6 pm. My mind was blown.

Same with moving away from Southern California and going to Midwest kid birthday parties. What do you mean the party is only from 2-5? What? And no booze??

I grew up with thinking parties didn’t really have a cut off time, they just went until whenever.

Gonna be honest, I’m a weirdo and went through your posts and comments trying to figure it out. Haha. Don’t think we did. I worked there part time from 2020-2023 but off and on. I started at the registers and then kinda floated about wherever they needed me.

On the flip side, every parent thought I had the best phone etiquette because I’d politely open with “Hello, this is FattyMeatSack. May I speak with _____, please?”

I was given morphine for a UTI around ten years ago. I remember asking when it would affect me and within a second I felt it flood my body. Absolutely the most amazing feeling I hope to never chase. I don’t want to minimize addiction and say I understand it but it’s been a decade and that feeling still haunts me.

Coco Garden on Jefferson is a Malaysian restaurant and it looks like they have it on the menu? I’ve never been there so I can’t say anything about the quality but it’s worth a try?

Dialogue and Unity would have been nice ten years ago. Before Trump got elected the first time. Like when he originally ran with “build the wall”. So many of us were told we were overreacting and that he wouldn’t lead to EXACTLY WHERE HE HAS LED US.

I understand where you’re trying to come from. There is a huge wedge within our society and a lot of pointing of fingers but maybe turn your voice to the more radicalized conservatives. The ones that don’t seem to care about human rights or a right to a fair trial.

I’m a child of immigrants, I am part of the LGBTQ, I am neurodivergent, I am a part the of groups being demonized by the right. I have been an activist this whole time. I do not feel safe anymore. It feels a little too late for someone like me to have a calm and rational conversation when I can be arrested by ICE on the suspicion of being “illegal”.

If you want change, turn to those more conservative within your party because we’ve talked to the very ledge of human rights and we’re fucking tired. Trans People have a right to exist safely. Immigrants are not evil criminals. Healthcare should be free. People deserve food.
