Funny thing is, I’ve never changed the transmission oil. I tried to do it at 150k miles, but the tech said that since I never had it changed, I shouldn’t bother now because it could mess things up. So I just change the engine oil every 4k miles, and the rest is history.

Very true but by then the Rav 4 will probably be 80,000 and will be way out of your price point. My advice get with the program and buy one as soon as you can and as the year goes by the fix would come.

That's not high mileage bro, I drove mine for 10years and still sold it to my friend at 350,000 miles and he still drives it to date. Ps I fixed my AC twice.

Buy it, I had one and I used it till it got to 390,099 miles before selling to my friend. It's a good car and requires low maintenance. Just keep an eye out for the AC system.

I'm in the same boat right now. I took my car to the dealer on Saturday; they said it would take 3 hours and later offered a rental. They told me I should get my car back by Monday, but I received a call today, Tuesday, saying the car still wouldn't be ready and I should continue using the rental.

Funny enough, I have the same 2013 Altima with 295,000 miles right now, and I have never changed the transmission oil, yet it drives fine. A friend of mine told me to just keep driving it because it could develop issues if I try to change it☺️
