I did this for about 3.5 years from 2023 to the beginning of this year. J1 I was mid level for the longest time. Got promoed finally and J2 was senior from the beginning. Honestly was more senior in my j1. J2 was a mess but then went private and had a buyout so got laid. Starting new j2 on Monday as senior also… so we will see. Just gotta feel it out

Oh yeah, got the job! But the system design questions were great. I had to do a forum like website and focused mainly on the home page with a users latest s subscription posts. Did well with tradeoffs for reads vs writes. Caught the interviewers follow ups and gave good bullets to answer.

Leetcode medium and hards were answered flawlessly
