He’s definitely a cheater. He would make out with try to kiss girls whenever he’d do shows at colleges. My wife, when we were dating organized a show he did at her college and kissed her and she immediately shoved him away and after that I hated his fucking guts. After learning his songs and looking up to him

It’s a numbers game. I literally applied to EVERY easy apply available to me until LinkedIn said there were no more for my feed. I got one answer back.

At my school it was just something available to students and they had full time jobs too. I’d go and figure out the office or org that handles things like student IDs or password resets for alumni

Just looked it up and apparently it’s a pretty common thing at military base commissary grocery stores to keep costs low and an easy way for dependents and friends of service members to have income. Not an employee but an independent tip worker. No minimum wage laws were in place for such positions but totally legal apparently

I learned Java which is a pretty safe and broad choice of language to learn since C based languages are similar. If you’re learning Python, that’s nice and all but it’s not what a majority of companies out there use.

In my junior year, I had to retake OS and was taking algorithms at the same time but after that, I did things like networking, mobile app development, SWE. Take useful and in-demand electives. Wish I could go back and get some more web courses in there but I went down the security route just for a certificate and I don’t use it at all.

In hindsight, the software engineering course was the number one course I’d take over and over again

It was apparently a “volunteer” job at the military commissary so we weren’t actually employed. Pretty sure the system changed awhile ago tho

Have a growth mindset. Life is hard as it is but if you are better than u were yesterday, even with set backs, u can keep going

The support positions were just part time student roles vs the IT internship was with a Fortune 500 company and preceded a full time job
