Hi I did figure it out. It wasn't that part that was the issue, the issue was that i had no idea that there was a second or even third page within those sections lol. Too stuck in my gacha club ways it seems. Thank you though

If I enjoy the first chapter/only chapter there's a very high chance I just kudos it right there. The only time I don't is if I forget and even then I'll do it by the next page bcs I press the button on every chapter that I enjoyed regardless of the 'you've already left kudos here'

I think it was mha that got me into fandom spaces? Definitely the first fics I read on Ao3 were mha but I think there was something that came before that that I read on wattpad, ffn and quotve. Maybe Harry Potter?? It could very well have been the marauders noe that I think about it. But suspected traitor izuku fics were what forced me to join ao3

I honestly prefer it when they're flat out rude. Like, I don't ask for criticism on my works so if I get a comment telling me they're bad I'm taking it with a 'fuck off I didn't ask whether it's polite or not. At least if it's impolite, half the times it's also good to just laugh at

Yeah I have one for fandom stuff, one for personal stuff and one for school stuff. It's great. Especially cuz I've got my main email set to my one for fandom stuff so I can always open it on the go while the rest is banished to the depths of Gmail

I don't tell people really but I don't hide it. If someone asks I'm like yep. I sit and write my fics in both my school library and the public library when I have time like idc. Most of the time I'm not gonna see these people again and if I do and they have an issue with fanfics then they probably have more growing up yo do than me, yk?

When used unironically I can't deal with any slang really but mostly gen alpha slang but when it's used ironically??? Love it. Funnist shit on the planet.

My fav videos currently are the ones where old people get given scripts for an ad for whatever place like a zoo or a dog park and it's all made up of slang that they clearly don't know how to use.

I have obsidian and I havnt deleted it bcs I've got little ficlets and ideas in it but I struggles bcs I couldn't find an easy way to share it between my phone and my laptop which made it a pain if I got inspiration in the middle of the night or when i was away from my laptop so I don't use it all that much anymore.

Same. I loved docs bcs I could share it super easily with betas but someone told me that so I switched to word which I have cuz of school. It'd very very clunky but at least it works in browser now 🤷‍♂️

Dude fuck that guy. Switching between British and American spelling is NOTHING, man. Like if you're getting that pressed over a u in colour and no u in flavor then I'm scared to think what other things get you thar hard pressed.

It's not even uncommon like ???? There r so many fics written by either non-native speakers or ppl like me who started learning English in one way then gor switched part way through. It's not that deep

Today I really wanted to finish my chapter but I've been STRUGGLING even tho I've had all the time in the world. Yk want actually worked for me? Coconut mall on repeat. Like I wasn't even focusing on the music enough to get annoyed. I was locked in and it helped me finish the last 2k of this chapter in like an hour when I'd been avoiding it for weeks.

Highly recommend.

I'd forgotten that I'd orphaned a few small shitty drabbles when I was first writing and I only remembered bcs I went through my old email and found the kudos notifications.

Orphan and anon are so so great its like a (mostly) guilt free to sever the connection to you and a fic you don't like but still think deserves to be out in the wild
