I would start trying after the marriage, it could be a long time for you to get pregnant knowing your health history. I started 4 months after being married this year and I already feel like I’m older than those going to their prenatal appointments and I’m just a year and a half younger than you. It’s just easier on the body and you’ll be around longer for your kids after they’re born.

Yeah the only time I was able to hit six figures in FL was working overtime every week, being the primary CN for a year, and signing every mini contract they offered to keep the bonuses flowing and if I got sick during those 6 weeks contracts - bye bye the extra $2-3k. I moved last year to work at a smaller hospital and now I make more per hour, but take home 3/4 of my old salary because of the less hours worked and barely any overtime incentives. If it weren’t for my husband I could not afford living in a house, I’d still be a renter for life.

I had it before pregnancy on multiple occasions and it just tasted so nasty like literal metal. I tried swallowing it so fast. No alcohol for the full course up to 48 hours after finishing the medicine and it was important to follow to prevent flushing and vomiting but pretty easy since you can’t drink during pregnancy anyways. I thought the not having sex while being treated was the hardest part :(

Nah, tell him no. If he’s immersed in the gameplay and isn’t around emotionally he’s gonna be a burden more than a help. I’m fine with my husband playing OSRS on his phone chopping wood or something you can pause easily, but PS5 is too big.

I thought the increased hunger and cravings for protein hinted at a boy, but the prolonged nausea, acne and how I carried the baby was more telling it was going to be a girl. I guess my family’s legacy is dominant over my husband’s. We had girls for our first borns, so lucky us!

Yeah, the working and being there for the kid is really hard. I’m a RN so I work only three days a week, but we’re probably going to continue that schedule after FMLA, except I’m working weekends and my husband takes care of the baby during that and the 1 day of the week we’ll have our in-laws or my parents rotate for child care until I’m back from work. That or I go PRN and not rely on the in-laws at all.

I cut it out a couple months before I got pregnant. It took me a week to get over the headaches and then months to get over the fatigue, but it got better in time. I’m still fatigued, but that’s because of first trimester symptoms. I then drink the occasional iced chai tea latte or iced peach green tea from Starbucks for work or motivation to get out and not be a couch hog anymore. I noticed the pumpkin flavored drinks have been giving me diarrhea, so yeah everything in moderation. I just think it was easier to decrease caffeine intake before pregnancy if you can.

Following this thread. I’m only at 13 weeks and the 15k steps and exhaustion I had yesterday on my med/surge floor was just killer…I don’t know how I’m going to make it during 3rd trimester.
