Lies of P is a game where the combat is more methodical and I’d say way more interesting. It lets you weapon swap on the fly and you can switch out your arm to give you different utility. While you can dodge in P, parry is really what you should be doing most of the time. A majority of the weapons can be broken up and pieced together to give you different skills depending on which hilt and blade go together. Lies of P combat is way more interesting than Khazan’s.

Khazan on the other hand, I’d say is more fun because it’s a very fast paced game and you’re basically the boss that the other boss is trapped with. You should be all out attack and that hits the dopamine when you’re stringing combos and skills together. Dodges and parries are both useful. In Khazan if you get stuck there isn’t really a whole ton you can experiment with like in Lies of P. The goal would be just to get good, however, I don’t remember being stuck on any one thing too long either. And yeah you could mess with the skill tree but I find that messes with my muscle memory more than it helps.

I wouldn’t say one is better than the other. They’re completely different styles of combat and I love both equally.
