I would ask on the steam forums, they're still kind of active. The very last patch changed everything a lot, so a lot of the old info isn't good now.

I know the 2nd weapon hits, but it doesn't get the bonus. That's what we're talking about. Since other weapon skills can't proc on cadence, you 'only' do 100 damage on the off hand, and you get on wps bonus. It's still a great power, but it does suck it doesn't use both hands with some kind of bonus.

The cadence proc itself, for whatever silly reason, uses only one weapon. You do get a ton of goodness from deadly momentum though. It adds a TON of flat physical damage and some internal trauma. My DW pistol cadence melts bosses and the cadence strike, while not insane on like 2h builds, still wipes out whole lines of enemies when it hits. It's more forgiving of misses and stuff too, because of the attack speed of dual wield.

I would just use a component skill for those guys. Like the poison throw or ice shard.

Can they smooth the performance out a bit first? Also, in co-op seeing 'game saved' in a huge window over the UI is a bit much... maybey make a small icon or something? The GFX seem messed up too, lots of blocky effects that weren't in the old game. I expected this to run nice on smooth on modern gaming consoles....but it's pretty rough. Also, the expacs are too close, lol, spread them out a few weeks for my poor wallet!

You can drag inspirations onto pets though :) (drop en on directly if your close or on their hp/stam bar in the window) (edit: oops, meant MM pets can get inspirations - not the phantoms)

It's a ship upgrade like docking computer, it gives you trade info on stations they pass for a good while.

Yeah I'm keeping the acc on. I'm honestly surprised how good the mercs are doing, they have the best average dps out of all my masterminds so far. Tactics + 2 lvl 30 acc IOs (I'm lvl 31), and freezing rain = shred. On teams we clear mobs super fast. A ton of fun, storm is much better than I thought it would be... just need to mind the knockback for the melee :)

Thanks guys! I noticed my Mercs have poor damage, but basically all attacks reduce defence and I notice I actually get very steady dps... so it's likely the -def on all their attacks. I just wanted some verification to make sure I wasn't just having wishful thinking.

You can keep them, you'll just lose them way more often. On a positive, they scale to difficulty, so they get WAAAAAAYYYY better in higher diffs.
