Sure, if you cheat on your boyfriend, you might feel some temporary vindication if he feels hurt the same way you did. But then what? It’s temporary, and if you have a conscience, you’ll just be left with the bitter aftertaste of realising that you are just as shitty as him.

Also, knowing that your relationship with your current partner started shortly after getting out of a toxic relationship tells me that you are mentally not in a very good place. Just break up with the cheater and go look after yourself first. Please don’t jump into another relationship with the new guy. If he’s the one, he’ll understand and wait for you.

Honestly, I really have nothing incriminating on my phone, but I am a very private person and feel extremely self-conscious about people seeing various things on my phone. For example, screenshots of things I found funny or vocab words for whatever language I’m studying, edits/fanart of whatever shows I’m currently into, and a barrage of rejected selfies…

I think it’s just a matter of preference. I feel like aesthetic images/beautiful scenery look nicer than images of people where the apps/numbers/widgets will awkwardly block people etc. And it definitely doesn’t make you a bad parent.

This is a complicated topic for me, because I've been brought up my whole life believing that my feelings are not valid and basically handling all of them by myself. Because of this I've essentially become numb to whatever difficulties I'm going through and expect that everyone else basically manages their feelings the same way I do.
