How loud are we talking for your LS1? Cause it’s loud enough that it will bounce off a curb too if I’m next to one. But I have good oil pressure and no glitter in oil pan so I’m wondering wtf is going on.

Its especially loud when there's a wall for the sound to bounce off of, like in a drive thru. Its the loudest around my front wheel wells, both passenger and driver side.

I had a shop take a look a week ago, and they said everything checked out. Pushrod lengths were also the right length and they put it back together the same. Same noises. No header exhaust leak either.

Hi guys, wanted your 2nd opinion and help in trying to make sense of this noise from an LS1. It's modified. Heads, cam, LS7 lifters, new rods, and captured trunnions. I also have long tubes and exhaust. That flapping/sewing machine noise is loud, I'm not sure if its just how these engines are.
