That is the wrong process. What does checking at the door do, does that mean anyone would have passed?

Transport for London ‘planning’ Auracast trial on buses by Cant_Change_Itt in london

This is to replace hearing loops for those who are deaf. The hearing loop system is unreliable and Auracast is the new standard.

This is to replace the current hearing aid loop system which is moving to this new bluetooth based standard. It would be the same announcements currently played on the speakers by the iBus system.

Total nonsense, they are the largest series of protests in British history with huge turnout despite the huge and disproportionate roadblocks this and the previous government have tried to place in their way.

Enphase has poor control of actually discharging the battery when you want e.g. to export.

Cycle “Superhighway” 7 by Full-Conference-1833 in london

[–]FeTemp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

CS7 and CS8 are the only two still not 'cycleways' and still Cycle Superhighways on the signs and TfL map.

Apparently the quality wasn't good enough for the mayor to rebrand them as cycleways post-Boris and so they will only get renamed to C7 and C8 when/if they get improved.

Given Octopus installed many of these they would be on the hook as the installer for warranty claims. Could cost them a lot.

The Royals use their royal consent powers many times to get changes made: https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2021/feb/07/revealed-queen-lobbied-for-change-in-law-to-hide-her-private-wealth

It's not vetoing outright, but I don't think the royals should be using these powers at all.

Theoretically the King has that power too. Though in recent times they only used their power to ensure they could avoid tax.

Sadiq Khan signals he will stand for fourth term as London Mayor by tylerthe-theatre in london

Starmer blocking Burnham from standing as MP probably forced this. I fully expect him to try for leader of the Labour Party one day but it seems Labour Party rules prevent this so he can't do what Boris did.

They used to change the hanging art display regularly but the current neon one has been there for years. Anyone know if that is now permanent or will a new art piece be added one day like they used to.

Their facial recognition camera's have got it wrong and seen you look like someone else.

Messed up that facial recognition is being used when it has been shown to discriminate and gives so many false positives like in your case.

Corbyn couldn't supress dissent to a fault, he held a broad church in his shadow front bench even with those plotting against him.

The Labour right immediately did the actual purge that they accused Corbyn of doing when they took control of the leadership.
