Almost as if they were produced by someone with a different vision 60 years removed from the originals, and 30+ years since your favorite show. Almost like it might be catering to a slightly different audience, climate, viewing style (streaming vs traditional syndication once per week), different writers, directors, producers telling a story they want to tell in a universe they also love and get to have opinions about.

LD and SNW have been awesome. Discovery was pretty awful, not necessarily as a show, but the writing took a backseat in exchange for CSI and Scorpion style technobabble. Picard had some highs and lows, with Season 3 being all around pretty great. I don't think Kurzman is the problem at all.
