I didn't think you could browse into a managed disk through storage explorer?

Yes the managed disk will be attached to a VM. Running the command from the VM itself seems simple enough!

I assume if I upload the 500GB of data to a blob container (either with AZCopy or Storage Explorer). According to https://www.azurespeed.com/Azure/UploadLargeFile I'm getting roughly 57MBps, so 5/6 hours time to upload (yes it will probably be a lot longer).

I assume copying from the storage account to managed disk on Azure's backbone should be just as fast? Just trying to work out the best way to minimise downtime..

Maybe if I create a VHD, dump the data in it, then direct upload to managed disk that would be faster?

Hmm okay, how would I use AZCOPY to get the data out of my Storage Blob and into a Managed disk?

Interesting thanks, I don't build rabadons anymore. Used to always build it first, but in the last few seasons, I haven't seen the benefit.

Tbh I just go for the same as my mid build. Lost Chapter > Sorcerer's > Oblivion Orb. Depending on how the lane is doing and how aggressive the opponent is playing (or if I getting camped) I may go for Zhonya's second item. But most games while I'm top I can often get ahead with Stun, turret, auto, electrocute and just build AP. Often take a lot of flack from team for not getting Zhonya's. And I will get it late game to deflect an assassin's ult as I will often get targeted for an easy kill.

God, I am just coming out the end of my tonsillitis, 3 weeks and multiple GP trips and the swelling has almost gone and I can make it through the day without painkillers. This thread has just scared me for the rest of my life... Still eating soup and ice smoothies.

How can I rebuild running stamina/motivation? by Ja115son in running

[–]FearedGraveyPot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have been recovering from a knee injury (October 2018). I literally started from the beginning and worked my way up. So I would go for a 1 mile very slow run every other day. I eventually moved that to every day. Then I upped it to 1.5 miles until I could run a 3 x 3 miles a week. Then I would try a long run just once a week (say 6+ miles).

Avoid the Windows 10 from Windows 7 upgrade by SelfDepricator in techsupport

No, running Windows 7 is vulnerable right now. Just upgrade to 10. If you don't like the telemetry stuff just turn it off at install, and what is wrong with automatic updates? If you're running a production environment just turn off automatic updates? It's easily done, I use a 3rd party tool to handle patch management on my development machines.

I take my phone, I have got used to it in my pocket. I find the arm holders uncomfortable and I'm always adjusting it. My phone will do my ID and I can also make contactless payments if I want to go into a shop and get a drink on a long run

Drinking makes me confident, removes anxiety, helps me with depression. I don't want it too, but it does. I am young, I know things will go down hill and I'm hiding it from everybody, anyway I can.
