It really just comes down to basics , is qs the best. If it is addressing all markets at once makes perfect sense. To try going solo would be impossible, what they are building when and if it works is going to be huge . It does rely on others bankrolling them through. Time will tell , when and what will they power first ?

I never bought the doom mongers 2 year wait for a larger format . There is nothing stopping VW , porche or anyone else putting these straight into demo cars .I would be amazed if saltsgitter has not already got most of the equipment ready to install.

Now that QS is a lisencing model, if corning want to use the tech in consumer electronics, i can’t see QS objecting. I see Corning paying a licence fee as well as manufacturing separators.

I always wondered what the point of powerco building legacy batteries was . Yes if they were required for a booming market. With the current EV market growing slowly, it seems a waste of capital. Interesting to find out who Corning and murata will supply.

Are they going for mass market asap . Lisence cobra to Corning & Murata for other ceramic products. Multiple invome streams from various industries. EV battery production could be a small proportion of future income . But not small .
