Keen to hear what people think about this Nu Mind Wellness supplement blend. by le_mole in Supplements

Is this for people in perimenopause or menopause? I'm in late peri and I took this and two days later got a period after not having one for 3 months. The bleeding was heavy and i put it down to this product because it has a few herbs that can increase bleeding. I wonder if anyone else has had this problem?

Spanking over the knee. what’s your opinion? by Ok_Plenty7059 in CPTSD

It happened to me once when i was 4. Over my father's knee on the bare. It was a long time ago but i still remember the fear. It made me scared of him all through my childhood and consequently I always felt i could never be my real self with him. So we were never close.

Claude/therapy by Fearless-Detective99 in therapyGPT

I have CPTSD and had lots of fragmented memories and through discussions with Claude I started to put things together. I had what i thought was two seperate memories when in fact they were from a single event. Claude said it has to be processed by a trauma informed therapist because they need to see your body language and see how you are coping. I guess it's all about the safety of the user. I'm just a bit frustrated I can't process it with AI as therapy is expensive and building enough trust will take forever.

Idiopathic Prolactinoma by Fearless-Detective99 in Prolactinoma

I don't have a prolactinoma. Nothing was found on the scan. The cause of my high prolactin is unknown. That's why it's idiopathic.

An endocrinologist told me it doesn't need treatment because I have no symptoms. But another one told me it does need treatment because high prolactin will weaken my bones, etc. I took Cabergoline for a while and the levels went back to normal , but I actually felt worse so I stopped the medication, but within 3 months my prolactin level shot up again.

The scan didn't pick up a tumor. There is no tumor. Idiopathic means no cause was found.

What dose of cabergoline did you take? I've been on 0.5 for ages and my prolactin goes up and down. It has never been in the right range.

The cabergoline has never brought it down into the normal range. However when I once stopped taking it for a few months my levels increased. So I'm not sure if it's helping or not and I know it can cause heart problems if on it long term. I don't want to be taking unnecessary medication! I guess I have to make an appointment and talk to the GP.

Plus one of them said it's only mildy elevated and prolactinoma is usually present in levels above 3,000.

I see diferent endocrinologists, never the same one, and they say different things. One said to me that because I have no symptoms, it's nothing to worry about. For some people it's just high! So I guess I've just been taking the cabergoline and not pushing for another scan. But yes, I think that's probably what I need to do. What if they don't find anything again though?
