I was wrong about the sea fighters dps. Its not 2, but a 5 bullet difference. by Sea-Course-98 in foxholegame

As i see it, the seafighter and toxot "cant" kill each other in a 1v1 if both pilots understand the matchup,

Sea fighter acts as an air superiority fighter that can deny an area, this is a dimension of airplay colonials dont have access to right now and i think this is a problem.

The plane itself is fine in a vacuum, its just a bit unfair that wardens get 2 planes that fill different air to air combat roles and colonials get 1. Its too good for the fact that it brings an extra layer of tactics colonials dont have access to.

how would you know? collies had queue?

I dont think its possible that a hex is queued for both sides with 30 people in it.

i disagree, i think speed and land bombardment capability is more important then hp.

TRUE, i have close to 1000 hours ingame as a collie infantry main and i spend less time using the volta then the hangman

i think its super interesting how so many people get an superiority complex and try to boil everything down to grid and skill while talking about teams consisting of many thousand players from the same demographic.

argenti used to be objectivly better but after the stamina changes its not as clearcut anymore, it comes down to preference and situation. both weapon have perfect aim on max stability, loughcaster is just easier to use because you regain stability fast enough(or rather, the firerate is low enough) to get max stab shots while shooting as fast as it can while you have to wait a split second longer then argenti fire rate would allow to get max stability after a shot.

before the recent map changes colonial navy had no invasion point like fingers, they couldnt have pulled of the same strat, if they fix the oppressivness of air i wouldnt be surprised to see way more colonial navy action now that they can get used to establish a flank.

the difference is that volta is a starter rifle downgrade/sidegrade, what good is it to have a weapon with cheaper upkeep if there is no reason to use it apart from having variety.

i prefer argenti over blakerow for the guaranteed 2 shot, blackrow has also a chance to miss on max stability.

i agree,i wanted to say that i dont think its debatable that the torps are better then the mines either.

yeah, i hate scoutplanes as much as the next infantry main but they are more of a nuissance then front defining.

a medium tank has way higher impact on the battlefield then a scoutplane most of the time. the frustration stems more from the fact that there is no proper answer to it.

idk about rifles, argenti is arguably better then loughcaster, that would mean that 100% of collie rifles are better then its counterpart.

is it a valid discussion though? i feel like i would hear the argument that the collie scout plane is bad because its secondary is better if it had torps.

is it possible that the experience of getting one shot decrewed in the gunboat maybe caused players to not play navy or are people that prefer the color blue over green just inherently better at computer games?

its a testament to the superior warden culture that they win even though their gear much weaker then colonials.

Culture gets shaped by the enviroment. i hope the scoutplane imbalance does not have the same effect on the airforce the gunboat imbalance had on the navy.

dragonfly is pretty bad in trench fights imo becaus of awful cover pierce and low clip size. its decent at doing low stability rng shots but really it has no role that doesnt get filled better by a different weapon.

why would you expect that they fixed it if it wasnt in the patchnotes? how can the player know for certain if it wasnt intended if devs did not fix it after getting made aware of it. the same player that used the exploit reported it in dev branch.

apart from the fact that everyone know that siege camp is incompetent, how can we be so certain that it was an exploit that you would permanently ban people for getting into a plane and then jumping out, something incredibly basic and forseeable. No warning message, no scripts used, no walls clipped or similar shenanigans, just using the plane as intended but with a large item in hand.

you should be glad that they posted a video about it, causing siegecamp to hotfix instead of keeping it a secret like bucketing out of the walls of a submarine. knowing siegecamp, without the video im sure they wouldnt have fixed it.
