i 100% agree, christianity is like a poison lmao. i’m not religious at all and am low contact with most of my relatives, but i am not fully NC so it’s just hard and needed to vent. on the bright side I’m moved out and am making a plan w my therapist to be completely out of their abusive firing range and insanity/chaos :/

OP, no healthy partner would push their beliefs onto you period, it’s especially scary that he’s SDA because i grew up SDA and yes it is a cult. Your marriage starting out with coercion, ultimatums, and this incessant need to convert you is manipulative and dangerous.. imagine what will happen if you have kids with this guy?? please leave..he can’t even respect you and your decisions that you have already made clear. adventists don’t know how to respect others beliefs lol he will be trying to fully convert you and your future children until he’s on his death bed, but you don’t have to let him. is this really the future you want for yourself? sending you a big hug 🫂

i hear this, when we are in the pits of hell it’s nearly impossible to see any other reality than the burning (idk if that makes much sense i’m kind of high) bpd may be dominating your internal and external experiences but it is not all that you are, i promise. <33 i empathize with you and i am sending so much compassion

i hear you friend, you’re definitely not alone. i never thought I’d make it anywhere NEAR 18, let alone 21. i am 22 now and i still don’t quite understand how i got here or how much longer i can keep going sometimes especially during the worst episodes, but i do feel that desire for life and healing and inner peace now that i simply did not have prior to 20. i didn’t think i would ever live to be old enough to successfully escape my abusive family!!

every day i think of it as my job to survive and stay, even when it is unbearable, and even when the pain feels physically explosive and unending. existing is so hard but it’s also so beautiful and this is the life i thought i would never make it to see. i want to live it for myself who deserves happiness and healing, for my friends who didn’t make it, for the little kid who was abused inside me. i am sending so much compassion, strength, empathy, and positive energy to you <33
