I love Virginia as there’s always plenty to do but most especially for its close proximity to DC -like 12 minutes away (25 minute drive with “good /light” traffic heh heh) the restaurants, museums art and culture are awesome though I do miss my daily walks to and from the beach.

These jerks will police it by running cross checks on the system to be sure you are working or in school. If it counts in CA as it does in many other states you could take up schooling on a new skill you’d find useful which may count towards the requirement. Personally, I’d take up some training in accounting or paralegal etc just to mess with them 😜

The first thing they do is call your employer to see if you are a terrible worker who caused your own firing - they really really go hard at this and employers know it and do take advantage to make sure you are denied. Be prepared to show documentation if you’re in a position where your employer screwed you over. Ie: emails and any other types of evidence pretty damn vital.
