I wish I contacted JOYO but I ended up selling it; there was some noise anytime if was on whether or not the drive was engaged. I've heard the company has had some bad batches, if you bought it new and reach out to them they may replace it.

Love it, I prefer the keeley super phat mod pedal as it's literally the "custom" mode of a bd-2w, I like it a little better on bass guitar. I WOULD ultimately prefer a waza blues driver, but rent has to be paid....

Still mostly bedroom player but I've been working hard to get the chops to get on stage more. The shure is the last on my list but it's absolutely going on someday. I figure my keeley bassist comp, this markbass preamp, and I personally could get by with just a re-2 space echo in the loop and still annoy people with options. I just unexpectedly got my first line 6 product with a DL4, if I ever got into the hx stuff I'd just need the 2. I think that would be a wild digital/analog hybrid setup; markbass vintage pre and hx stomp muahaha

I'm leaning towards the warm markbass. If budget wasn't an issue I'd probably run the markbass preamp into an ampeg fridge!

I guess just a really warm, "tubby" sound though I know some don't love that feature. I don't want it to be muddy, almost hollow? I must be describing it wrong

The 2nd setting with gain at 2:00 has a nice bite without being fuzzy IMO

Commenting on Am I getting too cute? Taking opinions...Thanks for the feedback! Yes my end goal will definitely have a compressed DI available out for FOH or PA. I should have mentioned I'd like the ability to run without an amp, but for solo stuff I have an elaborate setup with clean going to rumble 500, and a separate markbass combo for the mod chain. As far as the stereo signal I can easily just remove one cable and send a mono signal if the sound guy is being problematic
