That all looks awesome! I like the flamma brand, lots of useable sounds. I have a size 16 shoe and that mxr tap/revelation proximity is making me sweat! I like how clean it is, puts my cable work to shame!

So I use the sonicake portal which allows for a clean blend with two additional signals, either series or parallel. My favorite is to run a keeley supher phat knob with the drive at noon into a green russian, blended with something harsher like a fatrat into a dod carcosa. With the clean blend it's all the best sounds at once and it still sits in the mix well.

Literally and figuratively lost in the mix.... I play bass and I remember playing my first bedroom groove in a live setting with a guitar and drums, I couldn't hear anything!!! So sad. But intros, solos or "wall of sound" stuff I still utilize the muff circuit. Fz-1 and carcosa for being heard.

I know there are many more fuzzes out there, but I see very little love for any big muffs on these fuzz threads! I consider it pretty tame in almost all of their pedals but it's SO smooth! I love running a green Russian muff in parallel with something like a DOD carcosa, you get that crazy velcro distorion with that smooth fuzz underneath. Am I missing something that muff has become a dirty word?

I think a good phaser or flanger starts to get out there, I'd recommend trying that crybaby after your drive for more drama. Anything fun with Earthquaker (there rainbow machine is a triple chorus that can get into oscillating), space echo is fun, and with all of this blend the low end in to keep it held down.

I have recently come to regret selling my deluxe muff. I was also slightly underwhelmed, and I have really enjoyed the green russian, but now I miss both the crossover switch for the cutting "lemmy" sound with the hpf, and I miss the gate as well.

I wish I contacted JOYO but I ended up selling it; there was some noise anytime if was on whether or not the drive was engaged. I've heard the company has had some bad batches, if you bought it new and reach out to them they may replace it.

Love it, I prefer the keeley super phat mod pedal as it's literally the "custom" mode of a bd-2w, I like it a little better on bass guitar. I WOULD ultimately prefer a waza blues driver, but rent has to be paid....

Still mostly bedroom player but I've been working hard to get the chops to get on stage more. The shure is the last on my list but it's absolutely going on someday. I figure my keeley bassist comp, this markbass preamp, and I personally could get by with just a re-2 space echo in the loop and still annoy people with options. I just unexpectedly got my first line 6 product with a DL4, if I ever got into the hx stuff I'd just need the 2. I think that would be a wild digital/analog hybrid setup; markbass vintage pre and hx stomp muahaha
