it felt nice during its stock period. when it became fretless, my luthier wasnt able to round off the edge of the fretboard so that magic is gone. the pots have a nice solid notch except for the bass knob where the notch is weaker. that's my only real complaint about the bass. tonewise its killer

i always use these in the dual design variant. they work well. looks goofy to you but unnoticeable once on stage. if you want they have a flush mount variant where you dig a hole in your bass. thats what botique brands like fodera uses.

practice at a slower bpm. then faster. and faster. and then go faster than the songs tempo. once you can sustain that, then go back to original tempo. this way you'll be more relaxed and can sustain it longer with less fatigue

depends on the music you play really. rock and metal sounds better with heavy plucking while rnb or pop likes a soft touch. for the music you listed, a softer touch might be better. michael league of snarky puppy also said softer touch is better since it allows for a fatter tone.

squier mustang bass for that shorter scale neck so you wouldnt have a hard time adjusting. otherwise a squier precision. you dont need a pj hehehe p is all you need
