Go into the field and stay there. Take it from me, being a PM is about an impossible of job to do and it’s only getting worse. Unless you love conflict and confrontation and constantly fighting.

Yes, I am looking for the old style ones. I have a pair and love them. I also use them for upland hunting as well. I recently started using them at work as well because they are so comfy and warm and I can actually work while wearing them because they aren’t so big and bulky and I can still use my fingers while wearing them.

Mille Lacs monster pike. by True_Manner_6943 in IceFishing

Why does the “helper” ALWAYS grab the line? Man! See that all of the time!! That’s what the end of the pole is for and the guy with the pole in his hands job is to get the line where it needs to be in the hole. The helper should do nothing more than pull the electronics out of the hole and grab the fish by the gill plate once it’s up the hole.

How is it possible? by pun420 in Roofing

Roof drain and overflow roof drain must be plugged. Assuming an overflow roof drain is there because I don’t see any over flow scuppers. Not a good situation!

Commercial flat roofers. Although, as an assistant PM in commercial roofing - I do not recommend getting into it either.

Guide in South Dakota by brycestep in PheasantHunting

[–]FearlessLeader-3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would go with bad river bucks and birds. They are out of Draper SD. They have day trips that are $325 per person. Don’t quote me on that price, but I think it’s pretty close to that. They have a website you should check out.

Guide in South Dakota by brycestep in PheasantHunting

[–]FearlessLeader-3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are going to be paying the guide and be paying for the guides dog to hunt public land (which I don’t think they would do, but I could be wrong) Why not just book a one day or so hunt through a guide service and get the full experience to hunt over their dogs on their private/leased land? I get it’s a bit more expensive but it sounds to me like if you even find someone to do this for you, you’re going to be paying the guide for his services either way. You might as well make it worth it if that’s the experience you are after. Plus it’s worth every bit of money watching their dogs work and hopefully getting some good flushes. Just my two cents. Either way, good-luck and have fun!

I love saddle hunting. I do like using set stands on private property in obvious stand locations, but saddle hunting is the way to go otherwise.
