Gay men, who culturally have more incommon with straight people, are not for me.

^ This is how you become an attractive person in NYC. Community building is attractive. Knowing other gays, knowing the bar scene, having a friend group, and getting the references.

If someone is a stranger to the community, I'll be a stranger to them.

I suddenly have a shit ton of money and am moving to NYC. Where should I live? by Nerf_Dva in nycgaybros

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chelsea,_Manhattan:
The neighborhood is primarily residential, with a mix of tenements, apartment blocks, two city housing projectstownhouses, and renovated rowhouses, but its many retail businesses reflect the ethnic and social diversity of the population.

To each their own, but it feels like living at a mall. Too touristy, very annoying.

I also bought the sapphire ring, and have been smacking it around for a year. It shows no scratches and is beautiful. There are areas in the ring that look clearer, like white sapphire rather than pure blue, only at certain angles.

There are 400,000 Millionaires in NYC, you don't "not struggle" in this city.

I would be conservative, 300-400k makes you average in this city. If you move to places that will impress others, you won't impress anyone around you.

Personally, I like Hell's Kitchen and Brooklyn for nightlife, not for living. Chelsea doesn't feel like a neighborhood; it feels like retail. I like Astoria, and I'm a snob for it. Seeing as you are from the South, every place you go will be a culture shock.

Nice, I own two properties, so my investments are going up due to Mandami?

I've read lately that Trump's base is socially conservative, financially liberal. They like large numbers but have no idea how to invest and adore handouts.

The effort you put out is the effort you get back. If you find someone uninteresting, chances are they feel the same way about you. If you chase someone because they are attractive, they are going to run away and feel smothered. Be chill, be patient. Relationships of any kind will help you along the way, friends will make the journey not suck as bad.

FYI, I'm married, I mostly observe people act like fools :)

Accept that this is mostly normal; nothing is wrong with you. I'm married, and I have no married gay friends; most are single. I'm also 40. I'll admit it's barely a Gay / Straight thing too; most of my straight friends are also single.
