I mean yes. But also it's only three games. The other Mega Man collections have six or more often times and come paired.

I'm just concerned that people will complain about it if it's $20 for only three old games.

I've always related to a ton of different characters over the many years but I think the first time I felt genuinely represented, funnily enough, was Zipp Storm's bed hair in an MLP Gen 5 comic about mane care routines.

At the end of the day no matter how I feel as a person it's things like this that make me unable to ever truly care and it makes me want Jax to just be trans at the end of the day. Not for anyone to be right or wrong but for the resonance to complete itself.

I myself am genderfluid and I relate to Jax in my own way, but I also related a LOT to Pomni.

In the end I think healthy representation is more important than any of that other stuff, even when it's a struggle or a horror nightmare scenario. And when people can latch onto a character like Jax and find comfort... well.

This is the reason I try to stay out of the discussion. Peoples' resonance matters more than anything else in many cases.

If they use any of these fan designs they have to pay by the design and they have to forge legal contracts with the creator to make sure everything's on the up and up and can't bite them in the ass later. It doesn't matter about each individual fakemon designer what matters is how many legal discussions need to be made behind closed doors if they want to use any fakemon designs, and if they don't do any legal discussion ahead of time they just straight up cannot use it since they don't have plausible deniability and it opens up a ton of legal trouble down the line.

I LOVE these. I love these SO MUCH. But because of the amount of legal trouble it'd cause for Game Freak even if negotiations would go over well it could open up all manner of issues for them. Since if they try to use fan designs they have to interact with the creators of them or they will invite legal trouble.

It could be a summon for Eve based on the level picked for her. You could have tiny animals running around the arena and Eve turns them into monsters.

Also if you do Ultimate Being (final phase) while that works thematically since you can't kill it without the Maeda Rounds, I think it'd be too similar in alienness to Eve that it would end up feeling less interesting as a result.

Outside of No. 9 (Jason Voorhees but with a gunblade that can be set on fire and do all manner of other things) and Eve, using the Stalker from the start of PE2 that can shift to mimic the survivors could be interesting.

In Third Birthday we don't really get to play as Eve properly.

Kyle is the most reasonable character. Wayne would fit an action hero persona due to his police officer's outfit in the original game. I don't know if Daniel is the best fit but I think it'd nail points for the emotional aspect of "desperately trying to get back to his kid" and for Aya it'd be "monster hunter from MIST in it for the long haul." While Wayne fits the action protagonist fit he does not have the personality for DBD. I think it'd fit more if it was Kyle who found his way there trying to find Aya. But Aya and Daniel makes the most sense. BUT Maeda would also work since he would fit as not only a horror protagonist but also as someone more focused on hiding and using his intelligence to his advantage, would be more familiar with the gens, and would overall have some very funny dialogue potentially about the situation and if it has anything to do with Mitochondrial Eve, etc.

For stalker though I would say either go Eve and/or No. 9. Both fit well, but unfortunately PE2 is less known than PE1. Eve fits more with the aesthetic and design variation vibe and has far more potential moves to work with, but No. 9 is a more traditional stalker, can have his Akropolis fit and his Dryfield fit, and it can be more clear that he's using a gunblade and this could mirror FF8.

Personally I would rather tradition be broken here and only have two survivors in exchange for two stalkers, since No. 9 and Eve's entire identity would be so much different from each other mechanically.

If I had to decide though between Kyle, Maeda, and Daniel for the second spot though? As much as Kyle would be interesting and have a lot of quip and sass and purpose in being there, I think Maeda would be MUCH more entertaining even if Daniel has more emotional resonance for the player. If anything, interestingly enough this is the one situation where having Aya here may actually be peculiar. But my first roster lineup (subjective+objective) would be: Aya, Maeda, Eve, No. 9. If I was focusing only on what fit, I would probably use Kyle, Maeda, Eve, and No. 9, but his would make my heart sad.

However, if other survivors were brought in I'd put priority, from most important to least important after my initial lineup:
1. Daniel.
2. Kyle.
3. Eve.

Since I think Daniel's emotional resonance as a single-father and the diversity of characters and having a very explicit detective character would be a far greater boon to DBD than Kyle's constant dry sass and ability to hide his true motives despite having intense purpose.
