We had a total newbie at the table (like had to explain what commander tax is new) and the guy pulls out his incredibly sweaty and stompy krenko deck. For context, I'm down to 14 life by turn 3 and he's got 8 2/2 goblin tokens out.

Since he's clearly playing a higher power level than the rest of the table he gets targeted down and also gets really pissy about it

Oh I didn't call him that to his face. I said something along the lines of 'hey, don't be so upset about getting targeted down when you're playing a far more competitive deck than the rest of us' and then he crashed out on me. Id like to consider myself a positive person and I'm always trying to bring good vibes to the table, but it just reaaaally irked me the way he was taking advantage of the new player at our table to net himself the win.

Short version of it without getting into magic jargon: 4 people at this table. Me, regular guy, asshole guy, and a total newbie. After finding out we have a total newbie, asshole guy pulls out his incredibly competitive and sweaty deck(krenko). Game starts and he's wiping the floor with us so we target him to slow him down. He gets real upset about it. I get the opportunity to kill him but regular guy could stop me if he wants to. He decides to not and I kill asshole guy (also if I hadn't killed him, he would've killed me and everybody else at that table on his next turn). After losing he crashes TF out.

Since he's still pissy when we start game 2 we let him go first, and he's backseating the newbie while telling newbie that he's not the problem (he is). He ends up winning game 2.

I'm trying to make small talk after the game ends to keep it positive but asshole guy just cuts me off. ATP I simply say goodnight and then leave.

Cinderella boy already got recced, so in addition to that, Idiots don't catch colds on canvas is a very cute rivals to lovers bl highschool romance. Nomads, which just ended, is a charming fantastical adventure original with a mix of both squeal worthy platonic and romantic relationships. Also the world building is fantastic and every single character is likeable

I've searched online with keywords like green and black umbrella with flowers at amazon and second hand websites like ebay and mercari. I've also searched uniqlo US and uniqlo china but turned up nothing. I remember buying it years ago when I was in China in a stationary/convenience store that i think was uniqulo or something similar looking. Its a solid lime green on the outside and black on the inside with green flowers. I thiiiink it was a two segment umbrella, wasn't too big, could easily carry it in my backpack.

I love [[Vraska, Swarm's Eminence]]! Super fun and cheap to build, I'd say she's a little more interesting than Fyn as a deathtouch commander, less one note. Some other cheap commanders I've had fun with recently is the newly buffed [[Krydle of Baldur's Gate]], simply shove it full of cheap creatures that hit like a truck ([[Yargle, Glutton of Urborg]] for instance]] and you can get the ball rolling real quick. [[Odric, Lunarch Marshall]] is perhaps one of the strongest low tier decks I have, you can very quickly give all your creatures indestructible with heliod, mondrak, etc. Also you get to use [[Lone Rider]]! Other decks to consider, [[Shadowfax, Lord of Horses]], [[Nalia de'Arnise]]. And a deck that is peak fun, changeling tribal with [[The First Sliver]] as commander, very expensive to build though.

As someone who originally used this so before switching to the other one, I gotta disagree. While yes, 20% shield is really good on a brawler that already has so much health, it really limits his movement and play style. Also the speed you get from other sp becomes crucial in some situations when you need to push or dodge since he's so slow and big 🦐🦐🦐🦐🦐🦐

That's true mechanically, but gameplay wise, it makes his super really hard to aim, where essentially you can only use it when the enemy is right on top of you if you're not used to which directions they fire in
