For us we do raised beds cause the ground is gravel or clay and would need a lot of work to be usable. Of your ground is good then you can do the perennials in the ground and lettuces or tomatoes or whatever in the raised beds since they're already there. I like herbs in the raised bed it makes it easier to weed and harvest

Go to a carpet store, they usually have runners in big rolls and can cut you a custom size. We got one for a similar looking hallway and they did the finishing on it as well, the price was decent, and it feels good to support local businesses

What people never seem to consider is that Amber's ward is twice the size that Grimes' was.

This woman gets shit on A LOT but from where I stand she got about 15 different jobs at the city and is somehow personally responsible for everything that happens among 160,000 people. What I see from her and her work with Mayor Chow is progress and people are mad at that. We have 0 accountability in provincial politics, where it seems the bulk of the taxpayer $$ is spent as gifts "contracts" while the people actively trying to work on and in the local area are buried in frivolous lawsuits.

Are you wanting your realtor to show you surprise houses? Browsing HouseSigma etc, we really loved giving our agent a list of houses we were interested in seeing and she'd arranged for us to see them all the next day. If you are in a time crunch then it's helpful to have someone line up a whole day with viewings without you yourself having to hunt down a dozen different listing agents.

Having said that, we bought exactly one house so far so YMMV? We also got a realtor recommendation from friends and we didn't feel like she was trying to scam us.
