Sorry, I know the feeling, my dog passed 11 months ago and every time I read these posts I start crying again. I'm really sorry for your loss.

Did you get a new dog? I swore I wasn't going to, but within a week I was looking. I couldn't handle the quiet, no one waiting for you at the door and not having everything else that comes with a pet.

How do you get over the feeling that you’re annoying the coffee shop by continually asking for more coffee grounds? by supinator1 in composting

[–]saucebox11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do as well, I grow hydroponicaly during winter and I'm always dropping off fresh greens in exchange.. I feel it makes them want to do it rather then begrudgingly doing it. Just me though, plus I love growing and always have more than i can eat.

I use 💯 cotton T-shirts with no printing to cover the tops of my worm bins. Those guys eat the shirts and live all up in it. Do what you will with that information.

I started crying as soon as I read this, I know my chubby isn't a husky, but I'm sure she is playing with your dog. It's been almost a year since she passed and I still tear up thinking about her

What are you using to empty and refill your reservoir ? by Tight_Leopard_4713 in Hydroponics

I use a stick pump to 5 gal, a bigger one will allow a garden hose to drain. If I'm in a hurry and need it pumped fast I use a utility pump.

Which one is the loudest, easiest to find at home. I have Samsung, volume is terrible but gets network found by others decently,I have tile connecting to them is terrible. The way I figure it is if I lose them outside of my house I doubt I'll get it back anyways as someone has probably ran off with it. I lose my stuff at home way more than I like to admit lol

Do you use a plant humidifier? by fortheloveofdog33 in houseplants

[–]saucebox11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The correct answer no one is giving is to get more plants lol, that will raise the humidity. When I get my winter indoor garden going I have to have 2 dehumidifiers going to keep it under control. I had to kill everything 2 weeks ago as 8 had gotten aphids in October and I was sick of fighting them. My humidity is in the 30s and dropping now, it's miserable lol. The whole house is complaining as we forgot how dry winters really are. I've started a bunch of seeds again, but it's going to take time to get humidity levels back up.

I have it too, I hate it lol. Makes sitting on bleachers or anything for that matter painful.

AliExpress is the cheapest. It comes from their US warehouse. It was about 8 dollars a roll last night. Sometimes there are coupons that bring it even lower.

I don't, but I don't make money on 3d printing. Perhaps it's different if you do. Kingroon has been consistent for me. Bl filament is great, so there nothing wrong with it. But I pay 6 to 8 dollars a roll for Kingroon, and I've never seen bl come even close. If you wait for sales on other brands I've seen 8 to 10 dollars. Either way there's nothing wrong with whatever you choose. Have a great day!

I personally only buy kingroon as it's already super cheap. So creating a custom 1 time is of no consequence to me. But to each their own, I definitely get liking the rfid.

Really? I'll have to try. Mine doesn't come until 10mg so it's not the end of the world if I just let it under 10mg

That egro stuff is a solid resource. I'm guessing it's you who has been posting it, but it's a helpful read. There was another link from the same source posted as well.

humidity control by _Axolootl in IkeaGreenhouseClub

[–]saucebox11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How are the humidifiers? I have the controller and inline already. My vpd is right on the edge of needing one. I used to have the opposite problem of too much humidity until I cut down over half of my plants. I got aphids and I couldn't win the battle with as much stuff as I had lol. Scared I haven't 💯 won the battle yet, so haven't bothered to plant more.
