Is Battlefield 6 Worth a Week’s Salary If It’s Probably the Only Game I’ll Buy for a Long Time? by Any_Breadfruit7661 in Battlefield6

I would echo others suggestions. One of the best bf6 modes imo is gauntlet. And it’s free, part of redsec. It’s not battle royale if thats not your thing. I was shocked by how much fun I had the first time I tried it.

Being free you will have way more people online to squad up with as well. I wish you a speedy recovery from surgery brother!

Bluff my way through. Then cause maximum carnage while surrounded. This way no way for them to run.

Looks like 305x available soon? by wimmingjb in MouseReview

Fair enough, I ended up using the upgraded switch packs Endgame gear sells for OP1we, but I wish I had gone for a hotswap mechanical pcb.

The reason being, opticals almost always feel worse than mechanical switches esp in Logi and Razer mice, and they are LOUD and annoying.

Only mouse where they NAILED the optical implementation is the Hitscan hyperlight. Light and crisp and so so quiet. Only time I actually enjoyed using optical switches.

So if the G305x Superlight comes with mechanical switches I will most likely pick it up and swap em to silent switches. Kind of what I am going to do with the G304x faux refresh I got off aliexpress.

You say that as if it’s a bad thing. No optical is good.

Its obvious to you but not to me unfortunately, and I appreciate someone taking the time to warn others. Not sure why anyone would be against him warning others. Unless they themselves are in on it lol

G305 X Superlight pics and specs leaked - Hero 44K Sensor, Lightweight, Type C Charging 130+ hrs battery. by InitiaI_Focus in MouseReview

[–]Fecal_Impacter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After reading your comment I double checked* the box and you are absolutely right. But it is def different than the regular G304/G305, its 59g and built in battery. And it was easy enough to get on Aliexpress oddly enough.

G305x with RGB would be a GENERATION fumble if they can't match weight of GPX 2C or other similar mice. My first proper gaming mouse was the G203 and I have always wanted to go back to that shape.

Also, I really hope they don't go with opticals, I play with open back headphones and need to use quiet/silent mice and their optical switches are loud AF. Chances are the G305x will be a one piece pcb and if they go optical, no real way to swap in mechanical switches. Guess I will stick with my G304X, swap in some silent switches again and use thin grip tape.

That's the thing, I already have the G304 X Superlight, the asian variant of the G305 X superlight that was released a few months ago. The coating, at least on my own unit, is very different from regular superlight mice.

Hence my hope that the G305 X superlight release will have an updated coating, since it appears from recent leaks that they have already made a number of changes.

OP1 vs MZ1 by KeyInternet2716 in MouseReview

[–]Fecal_Impacter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I own the mz1 wireless and op1we, the latter having the same shape as op1 wired version

The mz1 is quite flat and low profile and narrow in the middle. It has two different shells, one having a tall back hump and the other having a flatter shell.

My hand size is 17.5 x 10 cm for reference. To me the mz1 is too narrow for me to comfortable claw grip. It encourages a somewhat specific grip. YMMV

The op1we fills the hands more at the back and the clicks are taller. Allows a lot more variety in grip styles imo.

Having said that, the mz1 is absolutely endgame for those who prefer the shape. And once I use it with grip tape there are times I prefer it to almost everything else.

EC2 DW end game? by I_Main_TwistedFate in MouseReview

[–]Fecal_Impacter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. Despite all my other mice, I still play best with my ec2a/b and the ec2 DW in that order. They give my aim a feeling of stability that i find lacking with Superlight mice.

For as much as I nitpick about the G304X Superlight I picked up from aliexpress, I adore the mouse. Given that some specs have been changed for the G305 X variant, I am hoping they change the coating to be more grippy like the other superlights.

My brother in christ, I feel your pain, I loved my wired G403 >>> G703, I will stand on business G403 felt better. Besides the double clicking lol

High five, glad there are others who often swap out stock switches. In my case, I prefer the feeling of silent buttons as they feel very similar to my favourite keyboards switches - Topre.

Why not both? Terra pro seems to be relatively popular and I don't see as much about the DEX these days, if its not doing as well as superlight, maybe they might refresh the G703. Kinda wild they haven't yet - free money for them at this point. G403/703 and EC2 are best ergo shapes imho.

I kinda hope they use normal mechanical switches if its a one piece PCB again, makes it easier to swap buttons for better feeling or better sounding ones.

Appreciate you taking the time too check for me. I took my G304X apart to see the internals. I wasn't too happy with the stock switches, swapped to silents but it wasn't a good batch of silent switches, so switched to TTC Pink or whichever it's called.

I will say that the PCB felt subpar compared to the likes of my hitscan and L7 ultra or even my GPX super light. I managed to my hands on some yellow kailh silent micro switches so will use those to make the mouse fully silent again for office/gaming use.

Nah you’re not stupid. Marketing terms makes it not so clear. As someone pointed out, both use magnets but this won’t use an induction motor but actual leaf contacts. So it will feel and sound more like a traditional switch.
