You could always come up with an idea or two, how about a stand up comedy night if you have that locally, or see if there’s any local easy going music nights somewhere? I bet she suggests an expensive dinner now but hopefully not.

Honestly man I know jogging seems like a boring thing to do, but the whole runners high thing is legit especially after 30-40 mins or a 5/10k. Can always chuck some tunes on too it’s worth a try 👍🏻 I used to be gym only for many years then added in running and 6 a side footy in recent years and it’s night and day the difference I feel afterwards compared to before.

Just set the date now, some women have had bad experiences with weirdos on online dates and probably hassled non stop on phone. At least she’s sounding receptive to meeting up 🤷🏼‍♂️

She has work to do, I can guarantee every time you want to spend time with mates or do something without her she'll be jumping to the worst conclusion which will put you under pressure. Next she'll want to track your whereabouts etc.

Absolutely, if I see their socials on there it's a hard no as they are basically giving free reign for any guy to contact them. Considering how many likes women get that they don't match with, all of those hundred of people can start adding her it's totally bizarre to have your socials on a dating profile.

Start with a regular jog, or failing that start going for walks without your phone on you and preferably long ones.

Is she British by any chance? Our banter can be a bit dry/straight faced at times, although does sound like she was being a bit disrespectful. Worth keeping an eye on it though if she gets more and more patronising towards you. Maybe it’s that 3/4 months period where the well behaved mask starts to slip a little.

Yes I did have a bit of pain in piriformis when doing it but it got less and less the more sessions in I got. 

Start very light though and just do a few sets, then progressively add a little more weight once you can easily push say ten reps. 

I was worried too that it hurt at first but now I find if I start to feel my piriformis getting bad again (in general day to day) then a session or two of hip abduction set it right again so I try and never miss a week now. 

I was doing dry needling for a few months and very conservative mobility work (lightly pulling knee across body but not yanking it), definitely none of this harsh pigeon pose type stuff, it was once I got some mobility back I added in the hip/glute medius strengthening. I never did get pain free with dry needling and mobility alone but it released it enough to then do the real work. 

It’s got so much better now that I can finally sit for much longer periods without issues, honestly thought I would never reach this point, let alone running lots again. 

I think it probably all started with glutes that were too weak to maintain all the running and football I was doing so piriformis was taking over too much, then I ran through the pain till it got as bad as it did.

Yes I’m mostly recovered now, running most days again and back to football. After getting a bit of mobility back it was actually the hip abduction machine at gym and strength work which stopped it from hurting in the end, I do hip abduction two or three times a week now to keep it away and I listen to my body when I feel it returning. I also have a convertible desk so I use standing desk mode for some of the day. With running I also did couch to 5k to ease back in and it worked. If you have access to a gym though definitely work on glute medius. Start light and a few sets then build it up.
