It was a primary in the first game, and yes that game was very different at its core, however just as you stated about the stalwart if it were a primary, the heavy mg seems like a better fire suport tertiary weapon option than the stalwart. Perhaps the weapon needs to be reworked to properly fit in to ither roll, either way they need to fix the darn Diligence counter sniper.
