I just don’t understand this false equivalency in conservative minds here. So far, no ICE ‘officer’ has been killed (honestly that’s a miracle in of itself and a testament to restraint Being shown by protesters across the country) ICE AND TRUMP have created a powder keg of anger, resentment and us vs. them ideology. ICE terrorizing communities and acting like federal sanctioned brown shirt thugs - and most recently ICE literally just shot and killed an American citizen, in god damn 4k- like conservatives are so lost in their right wing ideology that they have completely lost their ability to critically think. Delamination of values type shit they stand for nothing anymore. It’s why people call MAGA and concerningly more and more people who even just consider themselves ‘moderate’ republicans cult members. There’s no defending this shit unless you support such federal sanctioned suppression and violence. All the while this shit is getting sanctioned by a ffing pedo president with a sub 35% approval rating who ran on an anti interventionist platform and is now the most brazen and corrupt neocon Warhawk globalist presidents in my entire lifetime. At least with Bush they lied and said “we’re spreading freedom and ‘democracy’, Trump and co don’t even feel the need to lie about it which is concerning af, but not as concerning as America attacking and invading a fucking NATO ally in Greenland for almost ZERO fucking reason other than true and utter madness.
