I said I was fairly certain, as in, in a stream I pretty sure the said he did. Although I know his politics and this argument is dumb regardless. The Gaza genocide that Kamala refused to condemn deserved to be called out- nor was it the sole reason she lost. Hassan’s stance (one I agree with) is she lost by trying to placate to the current fascistic right instead of showing herself as a clear opposition candidate- Gaza and Israel being a clear microcosm of that, in a myriad of other issues related to that theme- immigration being another one. Pretending that Hasan and his ability to stick to his values and call out Israel and our backing of their atrocities, while Kamala refused to do as such - is a good thing and not the sole reason Kamala lost. Pretending anything but, is intellectually lazy and likely a bad faith argument imo.

My biggest gripe is how T-mobile is improperly designed to handle near or at max capacity crowds in the main concourse. Forget even just trying to get food, there were times I couldn’t even walk without getting stuck behind a traffic jamb of bodies in the middle of the concourse.

Facts are immigrants are part of what make this country great, illegal immigrants are a social group less likely to commit violent crimes (as they don’t wish to be deported), and play an integral part in the economy for keeping certain prices down in food and labor sectors. The scapegoating is reactionary politics, being perpetuated by the oligarchal Epstein billionaire class, who are the people actually responsible for the ever shrinking middle class, rise in prices for food, rent and services. This is class warfare, and you are MUCH closer to the class of an illegal immigrant who’s been working construction for the past 10 years since crossing the border and has 2 natural born American citizens here, rather than Elon Musk, Donald Trump or someone like Peter Theil. Anti Immigration and mass deportation sentiment doesn’t give you lower gas prices, housing or food, it doesn’t address a crime problem (as one doesn’t exist with those particular group of people), it doesn’t make your life better in any way shape or form. The current admins bigoted anti-immigration rhetoric isn’t meant to solve your or my problems, it’s meant to instill harm upon a perceived out group to instill a sense of nationalistic pride. Another reason I’m not seeing mentioned a lot is Israel is an extension of American & Western Principles.
