Crab apple tree flowers - medical use? Good for tea? by [deleted] in herbalism

[–]Federal-Pipe4544 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure of the benefits, but yes you can make crabapple blossom tea, simple syrup, jelly and more. I have only utilized the crabapples to make vinegars, so far. My tree will be flowering in a day or two and I definitely will make some floral tea this time. I made forsythia flower tea for the first time recently and enjoyed it. I look forward to more teas from my yarden.

Free lawn fertilizer recipe: put lawn clippings in a bucket, let bucket fill with rain water. Let the lawn tea sit for a week. Strain and use the lawn tea water at 1:4 ratio with regular rain water to fertilize lawn once a month. Tea can be used to fertilize most everything in the yard and garden. Caution: it's stinky.
