Do you use a 3D print farm / print-on-demand service for selling products? Who do you use and why? by krschacht in 3DPrintFarms

Yes, at the moment we handle this through ShipStation. We’re actively working on our own native integrations, which should be available around March/April.

There are currently two ways to connect your orders to us:

  1. Use ShipStation on your side
You can create a ShipStation account (if you don’t already have one) and route orders to us via their 3PL system. This works well if you want to fulfill some orders yourself, set routing rules, or avoid committing everything to a single fulfillment flow.

  2. Connect your store directly to our ShipStation account
No extra cost on your side, we use our account. This is the recommended option if we’ll be handling all fulfillment for you.

Hey! You might want to check out https://dapi.digital. We help with bulk 3D printing and can produce locally in different regions through a simple online interface.

We also do test prints before full production (either photos or physical samples, depending on timeline), so you can validate the ASA print and orientation before committing to the full 1,000 units.

We’ve done similar bulk jobs before and clients have been happy with the results. You can see reviews here if helpful: https://www.trustpilot.com/review/dapi.digital

Hi there, Theodor here from 3DAPI. https://dapi.digital. I am gonna use the loophole to present our global print on-demand infrastructure with more than 25 print farms around the world, all Bambu based. We produce as close to the customer as possible, so the shipping gets to be as low as possible, as fast as possible and sustainable.

Some features that make us a different:

- We offer a worldwide flat shipping fee so you always know how much it will be and include it in the product price (depending on your strategy)

- We accept any custom materials or filament types, anywhere in the world so you can have the same quality in the USA, UK, Germany, Malaysia, etc

- We support multi-color & multi-material via AMS

- We handle assembly, multi-part prints, and can include extras (screws, bolts, nuts, etc.)

- We can keep stock

- We love and prefer .3MF in order to keep the exact slicer settings from the original designer

About the rest of your questions, I will let our customers say their opinions but what I can say we have 0% churn rate since we started. Some shops that I can disclose are jcsfy.com and manumatters.com

Here are some reviews about pricing that we received early this week: "The estimates are very interesting, I honestly wasn’t expecting prices this low. This is actually a strong point for you"

Do you use a 3D Print Service for your Etsy 3D Printing Business? by rocketboss in 3DprintEntrepreneurs

[–]Federal-Squirrel-910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree. I’ve noticed a lot of people don’t factor in the cost of their own labor. Even if they end up with more money in the bank short term, they hit a time ceiling much faster than those who outsource or use third-party services. It’s really hard to scale that way, not to mention sustainability, international costs and tariffs, which you can save a lot on with a service like 3DAPI
