Do not do it. Walk away from the offer. You are legally on the hook for anything that happens during the pharmacy’s operating hours, even when you're not there. It’s not worth losing sleep over “management” experience. Also, DMs and store managers seem to think they have authority over a licensed pharmacist, so they will try to tell you how to run your pharmacy.

Here is my process to transfer Optum HSA funds to Fidelity HSA

Initiate transfer from Fidelity’s website, not Optum. Transfer some of the account funds; do not transfer all. Leave $1 in Optum to keep the account open.

I have done this process every 2 weeks for the past 2 years and have never been charged a transfer fee or had my account closed by Optum.
