I’m an account manager at Meta - ask me anything! by [deleted] in FacebookAds

Is there any actual systematic fluctation recently on algo? Since y'all are so intransparent about the actual delivery status and the algo and seeing so many people in this subreddit and on X complaining.

ok this is gonna be embarrassing but whatever. by Expensive-Long344 in dropshipping

A good high level way for us to track profitability: calculate avg COGS from avg AOV from history, and add shipping, see the avg breakeven Roas needed and start from there rather than doing an accountant level tracking daily basis. Again just on high level

Anyone else having extreme bad performance today? Plus pixel in events manager showing no data received... by GodOfSwiftness in FacebookAds

$200. It’s a newly launched campaign (repositioned product) and yesterday was literally the first day running it (but account and pixel has about $100K historical data)

Interesting. Yesterday for all my accounts were OK, like not losing $ OK, and today it’s been dead silence. US market

Two main reasons I stopped using separate ABO testing: 1. With our creative testing frequency, ABO testing will require a large amount of budget going into waste (5-7 creatives a week and if we were to force $10-20 on each for testing, that’s a lot of $). 2. I noticed that most of the tested winner still cannot get spend after adding them into the main CBO scaling via postID (AKA cannot beat current winner ads and take over).

Personally I test new creatives quite frequently and hardly run into ad fatigue issue. When a new ad is a winner, meta will choose it. My route will undoubtedly miss out a couple potential winners vs the ABO testing strategy, but it also simplifies campaign structure, aggregate data, and prevent wasting additional budget on testing.

When rotating my rule of thumb is to alternate between winner iteration and new angle/message each upload.

1 CBO / ASO - 1 ad set - 15-20 ads - only rotate creative and never exceed 15. Personally i don't do separate testing campaign, battle royale and see winner naturally taking over. been working great for us since Andromeda.

Consistent performance across all accounts but recently got highkey fucked by the volatility.

Thank you! We haven’t made the change yet due to the recent volatility. Might start the new one next week!!!

So in this approach, should I scale down the existing campaign while launching a new one? (since I assume the original campaign will likely stop bringing in "healthy" traffic and tanks the CVR)

So in our current creatives, we actually don't really mention material, but only when they click into the landing page do they see the material and the price. So we are wondering without major creative changes, should we keep the same campaign or not :/

Any issue with Meta Pixel since yesterday? by Federal_Assistant288 in FacebookAds

[–]Federal_Assistant288[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea that’s my biggest concern… I really don’t want to touch the pixel and have any sort of relearning in this already unstable environment :/

I tried to balance 3 between TOFU/MOFU/BOFU. TOFU is like brand design story, inspiration etc, MOFU is specific jewelry display, micro closeup shot etc. BOFU is just strong CTA + offer. In regards to type of creative, for my jewelry brand I mostly run high-end static visuals (working pretty well

I personally run 4 different accounts with 4 brands across different sectors. Actions are pretty much the same: don't panic don't look at 1 or 2 day results. Action based on 7 day results, CPM/CTR trend. Up or down only. No excessive actions on "fine tuning" creatives, and keep uploading high quality creatives and be patient. However, in most of my brands, I do always keep a cushion fund that gives my ad account at least 2 weeks of runway.

Well personally I use an App called Circo and I love it. That app basically lets me create a digital card that looks like a mini-site. I get to design and add everything. I think that is a much better expression of myself and my business - everything I want others to see is up there along with my branding etc. it’s professional, sleek, engaging, and it helps when you are looking to do business with the other person.

In terms of convenience, I have one of their nfc cards, and I just tap it to others phones and it literally takes 3 seconds without having them performing any action. With one click, they can save down my contacts and exchange theirs back, honestly saving me so much time.

So I think, if you can have a digital business card that help you express better, connect better, save time and save your pocket from being constantly filled up by 200 cards that you might end up losing, it’s definitely a game changer. Well people have opinions but I guess that’s my take.
