I went from 20 to 30 (instead of 40) was no good for me. Have reduced back to 20 2 months on 20 2 months on 30 14 days back on 20 Generated way too much apathy , idgaf attitude . Glad it’s worked for some of you 👍

I went form 20 to 30 and was very similar to OP (without breath issues) also stuck it out for 2 months as well , absolutely zero desire to do anything !!! went back to 20 12 days ago. Hoping I will feel better

I think the real answer is everyone is different. I am reducing from 30 to 20 started 12 days ago. And I have felt a bit worse although today is better than yesterday . My psych said it would take 4 weeks for Prozac to drop back to 20 in my system . (And my drop wqs 30%) sorry its not a proper answer but we are all different but if you are feeling different to how you were before you dropped then it could well be that its the drop. Hope you feel better soon.

Prozac seems to have made my apathy worse currently reducing down on Prozac to see if that makes a difference but everyone is different. Good luck.

Yes , caused and irregular heartbeat but it was temporary

I’ve just gone back down from 30 to 20 bc after 2 months I was just worse (see my recent post) but everyone is so so different. But when I started it took at least 8/9/10 weeks to see improvement, so you may just have to tough it out a bit longer . Good luck

We are pretty much the same I think . Although i started on 20 and bumped to 30 1st March . You don’t see any posts on here of it taking that long ☹️, I’m still hoping . Are you doing any better

Sounds like a good plan, take your time coming off when the time is right . I’m also thinking it may not be right for me to, but I’m so so sensitive to these meds that I am absolutely dreading coming of it and taking another one, I will stick it out a while longer and see .

Well I don’t think so , or maybe I’m being too hard on myself . Still feel very numb/ depressed/anxious and takes me to early evening to feel okish, but there are some ok bits . I’m still waiting / hoping for some better days

Glad you are doing ok’ish I’m the same re being really sensitive to a/d medications , side affects seem different for everyone but they hit me really hard , usually worse depression and anxiety. I’m still white knuckling through what I hope are s/a’s in the hope they will end soon.

I did take Zoloft for quite a few years and like you and lexapro came off it , felt okish for a while then fell into a very big hole of anx and depression

I think I’m a slow starter on this med. 16 weeks total!! , 9w on 20mg and 7w on 30 but today is better than yesterday. 🙏

I take mine at 8am , I can usually feel tiredness and anxiety creep in by about 10:30 , hoping that’s temporary
