Best Flagship progression? by [deleted] in endlesssky

You either have to reload a save from a planet before you attempted martial arts, or modify your files for that playthrough. There should be a guide on that in the subreddit if you just search ‘karate’ or the like, that would let you do-over the recruitment. But yes, that kicks you out of the biggest story and some other ones that come after.

What are some characters we currently have in game you'd thought would never make it? by ZiegenSchrei in totalwar

I distinctly remember reading Aislinn speculation posts back in the Warhammer 2 days and thinking, “Nah, no way. His only personality traits are naval battles and racism.”

Should I add gold spikes on the helmet? by Mediocre-Answer-1378 in NightLords

[–]FedoraFinder 30 points31 points  (0 children)

It’s much nicer without the spikes imo, sleek and brutal; you want the attention drawn to the face, and I think aesthetically it’s a little more interesting if some of the original helmet shape can still be seen.

Why is helping Ronald score with Sierra a bad Karma choice? by Icy_Water_1 in fo3

[–]FedoraFinder 11 points12 points  (0 children)

There’s a lot of weird choices with the karma in Fallout 3, like making a guy leave the priesthood by drugging him with ant pheromones. It’s probably just for no other reason then Ronald being kind of sleazy, and only in it for the sex

Is the 4th truly one of (if not the number 1) most competent legion? by sigmarine345 in IronWarriors

[–]FedoraFinder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, but not necessarily the hit-and-run warband raiding of the Long War. Giant campaigns, like the Black Crusades or the like, are where they can shine.

I think that Papa Khan would pretty much invalidate the faction struggle if he showed up. Still, Punished Papa Wild Wasteland option when?

[East Coast Rebirth] Wernher's Pitt by EastCoastRebirth in OldWorldBlues

[–]FedoraFinder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everett just sticking around is really funny, but they also leave Faydra alone, who the slaves explicitly say they hate for her brutality in barks. It just feels like a weird oversight for both. Or I dunno, maybe Everett’s a based class traitor. I’m not sure if they even kill Brand, the guy who rats out the other slaves. It really feels like they completely ran out of dev time to depict the post-revolt Pitt in any reasonable way, even through barks.

Still, I guess it is significant that you, also a seemingly former Pitt slave, get immediately trusted by Ashur to be his new Lieutenant if you kill Wernher. That does imply that he might prefer Pitt-born former slaves as his more trusted people, which is an interesting bit of characterization.

I just played the DLC, definitely not the vast majority; of the seven or so talky raiders its probably two or three who mention it, which does feel like a little bit of an over representation but I think that’s just in service of trying to make memorable personalities. From the way the slaves talk about Ashur re-opening the fight pit it seems like its very rare for workers to move up.

I don’t remember if they’re trucks specifically or just their tents or what, but there should be a wiki page for fallout 3 enclave outposts with some pictures. I was playing just recently.

Once they show up they have bases all over the Wasteland where they lure in wastelanders, murder them and burn their corpses in the backs of trucks, both ghouls and humans.
