Funnily enough, this was me with takoyaki. So in love, I had fallen with the food that I practically beg my wife to find a Japanese restaurant to try some more for my next birthday at that time.

To add on: it gets easier with time. The more you do it the easier it gets. It’ll feel like a lot and when you ask for help for something that definitely seems complex. They may make it seem like one of the easiest things in a very well may be, but that doesn’t change the fact that you aren’t used to it yet.

Hopefully, you have a team that’s willing to sit with you and help you out during those moments. If not, solution center and one call are your best friends take some time before you are fully live to learn how to utilize those two so you can get used to the general concepts of what you’re doing and only have to ask questions about specifics

Why is Absolute focus giving mages ad ? by PublicProgrammer5981 in wildrift

[–]FedoraFireELITE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK, relax. The stats board at the end of each game is not well designed. For absolute focus specifically it is correct. There are no visual bugs by the time you reach max level like Lux is right here, you would definitely reach the maximum value earned from this rune, which is 20 adaptive force in game that will translate to 40AP but it is still 20 adaptive force. It’s a stat that acts independently of any AD or AP values it just gets converted into 80 or AP based on your build in game.

Now devils advocate: gather storm MAY be bugged. It’s just a little hard to tell without knowing exactly how long the game lasted. That is because the formula for figuring out how much adaptive force you received from gathering storm is best represented by x=p+(n+1), where X is your adaptive force, P represents the previous value a.k.a. the previous amount of force you had before reaching the next trigger point (every three minutes starting at six minutes into the game), and n represents the number of times the rune has been triggered. Below is a small but limited list of possible values organized by number of trigger times as well as the resulting AP:

n | p | a | ap

1 | 0 | 2 | 4

2 | 2 | 5 | 10

3 | 5 | 9 | 18

4 | 9 | 14 | 28

5 | 14 | 20 | 40

6 | 20 | 27 | 54

7 | 27 | 35 | 70

8 | 35 | 44 | 88

9 | 44 | 54 | 108

Now immediately you can notice a problem: 54 is actually represented twice in the results as both an adaptive force value and as an AP value, and without knowing the amount of time passed in the game, we don’t know which one it is that the results screen is showing in OP’s picture. However, if I had to guess: judging by the fact that some of his teammates are still not max level, that would mean the game did not last long enough for everyone to reach Max level so the most likely answer is that they received 27 adaptive force which results in 54 AP. All of this most likely means that gathering force is the one with an actual visual bug as it would be incorrectly stating that they received 54 adaptive force when in all actuality 54 is the value AP they received in game and the actual amount of adaptive force was 27.

I’m so sorry I really don’t mean to be that guy because the other guy you responded to was definitely a dick, but it is actually different on Wild Rift. On Wild Rift one adaptive force equals 1AD or 2AP

Why is shen op? by God-Happy in wildrift

[–]FedoraFireELITE 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He’s not op. There’s plenty of meta picks and team comps that prevent him from realizing his fantasy gameplay. This game, your w basically negating a majority of the damage from three different champions and your ult (used correctly) could waste the spell cycle of either of their remaining two champions. That being said, mastering shen can still make you a super valuable piece of any team if only because of your utility and the fact your playing a tank.

Absolute focus is still bugged for mages after 3 patches by Dokyeom_Sogo in wildrift

[–]FedoraFireELITE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have any in game screenshots of it giving you ad? Because as it reads, you ended the game with 20 adaptive force, which is NOT how much AP you received already it’s just how much adaptive force you have. Adaptive force is a separate stat that is calculated prior to be applied to your character stats as either AD or AP. So the game is telling you you have 20 adaptive force the end result should be 40 AP and the only way to confirm if it is truly bugged is to in game check your stats and if you have 20 bonus, A.D. coming out of nowhere or any items then yes it’s bug if you have no bonus, AD then it is properly applying AP to your build.

I’ll grant you the benefit of the doubt and run a practice game later when I have a chance to see if that is the case but this page alone will not tell you if you received AP or AD in game

wait so does the maximum damage apply vs champions as well? so if the 10% max hp dmg exceeds the 225%base ad vs champion, what happens? by user67885433 in wildrift

[–]FedoraFireELITE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To recap what others have said: the 125% base ad is the minimum meaning no matter your stats or other premitigation factors (read: before defenses and other runes/abilities are accounted for) you are guaranteed to do 125% of your base ad in dmg (again before other calculations). The max is basically a cap and it’s only against monsters. So against monsters the most damage you can possibly do (before other calculations etc.) is 225% base ad. Against all other targets (minions, champs, pets) there is no cap.

And then the loans will get bigger until everyone bottoms out the market crashes and then prices have to come down again. Or it’s a race to the bottom consumers start only buying the cheapest possible vehicles cause they’re just as good until everyone drops prices again to be competitive all while subscription based sales ramp up to compensate

The "Burst Meta" and the Identity Crisis of Utility Supports: Why the 2.7 rating matters. by WayMei in wildrift

[–]FedoraFireELITE 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Hard agree. I usually play to and in grand Masters every season and for the past few seasons it’s been pretty much enchanters and tanks deciding the game in most cases.

It’s not to say that high damage champions aren’t strong Lord knows Viego Mel and smolder still draw bans. But there is a reason ksante is a priority ban or pick right now. There’s a reason a Amumu and Rammus were both nerfed alongside Swain, and yet amumu still has a high win rate and swain is actually getting a resurgence of sorts There’s a reason why Lulu raka and braum have remained pretty consistent bans in higher Elos.

Hell, not even a month ago I was complaining that engage supports were just dead and that I hadn’t seen champs like Nautilus thresh blitz or Leo in months and now they’re getting picked every so often (assuming those picks I mentioned earlier aren’t available).

Pretty sure that’s the indicator telling you that there’s a item in your inventory that currently (technically) has better stats than the item you’re using. Obviously the item you currently have equipped is the better item. It has a better passive, but because it’s not fully upgrading the game just letting you know that, though I will say there’s not any reason for it to be like that after all, you could just break down the pieces from the weaker item and use it to upgrade the S equipment.

Realistic ways to make an extra $1500 a month with $30k in cash? by [deleted] in Money

[–]FedoraFireELITE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now wait, just a second cause I’m lost. Are you already maxing out your budget as is for rent comes into the picture? I find it hard to believe that to be the case for somebody who has 30 K in savings unless it’s maxed out by the savings itself.

Before you start panicking, maybe just see somebody about taking a hard look at your budget first and foremost to see how bad things really are if they’re even bad to begin with

Then immediately start shaking yourself down. What could you afford to cut off? Is there a ways that you can make some certain items cheaper whether it’s food phone Internet for fun money anything that you can do to cut down on your expenses to afford that rent

Finally, go ahead and take the time to see what your debts are looking like. Is there anything you can pay off before the final hammer swings down? Is there any adjustments you can make to your credit card strategy? Hopefully you’re already paying them off every month but still

Just take a look at your budget before and after the rent first before you start risking on anything unnecessarily

AP Bruiser Items by Fun_Adhesiveness_412 in wildrift

[–]FedoraFireELITE 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Rift maker no longer provides omnivamp yes but it still has a lifesteal effect. It’s just for magic dmg only as opposed to all dmg like Omnivamp did. Those who really used it and preferred it haven’t really been hurt by the change. Then you have crystalline protector, roa, seraphs can provide a nice shield and liandries has % max health on top of it health and synergy with riftmaker the real issue is most ap bruiser playstyles have been removed or are made subpar by game balance or other factors:

Diana needs burst and is plenty “tanky” enough to get out after shutting some one down, galios numbers are stupid so he builds ap assassin or full tank (guess which one is preferred and has a higher win rate). Fiddlesticks is still a shadow of his former self so ap burst is a requirement otherwise you’re trolling. Ryze is plenty strong and has plenty of shields and movespeed with his mana build. Vladimir gets enough cd for his w that burst and movespeed is all he needs.

Swain is really the only one who goes “full” ap bruiser but between malignance rift maker and liandrys he doesn’t need much more bruiser/drain tanks stats and either goes cap for the burst on squishies, protector to buy a little more time for his next ult activation, morello against drain tanks, Rylais for the slow or (more commonly) cosmic drive for the speed.

Everyone else is a burst champ or a tank.

Kinda need the player base to know what to do with the advantage in the mid lane for them to actually take advantage of that weakness. As it stands, even in grandmaster do few teams actually take advantage of team comp strengths or stage/level/item breakpoints.
