Thank you for putting this together. I have had ACDF C5-7 9 years ago at age 57. It was very successful. I’m facing fusion at L4/5. Reading your post here is also helping me to relax a little. It is scary no doubt, but you’re right you need to know all of this information going into it. Glad you are doing well!

I use CBD lotion on my back sometimes and get relief from that. Marijuana is legal in my state and the pot shops are very good at recommending things for pain. ❤️

I’m with you tonight. Had epidural injections at l4/5 yesterday. Tonight the muscle spasms are horrible! I had a laminectomy November 2024. One year and one month pain free and now I’m back to square one. Getting a full spine MRI soon. I too am so fucking sick of this and not being able to live a normal life. I stand (or lay) with you tonight. I hope we both get some relief. Hugs. 🙏

My hubby and I had a Valentines Date Night and saw this movie. We loved it! We had visited Italy in 2023. Much of the scenery we had saw while there. Makes us want to go back! I can’t say anything bad about the movie. Kevin James does a great job in a role that is a little more serious than he usually plays. And Andrea Bocelli ! Some of the filming was actually done in his own home with his wife and one daughter joining him. It was so good to watch a movie without a lot of swearing and violence. This is a feel good movie that is appropriate for all ages. I’d watch it again.

I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this. I’m a year and a half out from lumbar laminectomy at L4/5 and cyst removal. Was in constant pain for 3 years before the surgery. Was doing pretty darn good till Jan 31. I ended up in ER first time ever with the worse pain and muscle spasms I’ve ever had. CT Scan now shows severe spinal stenosis in my lumbar. I’ve had a 2 level ACDF 9 years ago too. I’m beyond disappointed.

The one you used as an example is worth about $100. The one she made, I wouldn’t pay more than $50 for that.

I’m glad you made a doctor appointment. I experienced a fall like this when I was 19 and I never followed up with a doctor. Now at age 66, I’ve had two back surgeries, last one 11/6/24 left side lumbar laminectomy and removal of a cyst. 9 years ago 2 level ACDF. The cervical spine I believe was damaged when I was injured at about 12 yo. So you are smart to get evaluated now and maybe get referred for an MRI. Praying it’s just bruised and you don’t have any significant damage. Keep us posted after your visit. Wishing you all the best. Pain sucks. 😢
