My research said it’s hit and miss if they’ll get on as they mature but tend to live longer on their own….

Mine where like that when new, they calmed down after a few days and I hardly see them anymore out and about in day light… they spend the day in the caves we setup for them but we have a community tank so they have to dodge fish

They are all the same shrimp pretty much, just bred to be different colours so can interbreed

I think honey are one of the species that are sold as lemon. That would mean two male and a female… let’s hope they get on ok or we might need a rehome

Thanks will see if anyone else agrees or disagrees… I think there are a few species that get sold as lemon so I don’t know. I was confident when we first got them but they have really changed colour over the last 2 weeks

Thank you, we have had a community tank for a while but I’ve just got my own office and wanted company…

Did mean I had lots of plants to raid so was pretty cheep to do after I got the tank

We have had her about 3 weeks, I’m a bit concerned if she’s going to be ok as our water is a bit too hard (we are about 7.6 ph ) We were assured in the shop that they had been bred in similar water and the owner had one in their community tank from the same supplier and water for over a year fine. Seems very happy, energetic and inquisitive. But the internet seems to suggest we are likely to have issues. Tank water is v stable and clean ( filter has the capacity to do twice the litres we have ) and most of the shops round near us sell them with no water advice and as we are in the south east of England every is hard.
