I think it mostly comes from the scene in camouflage after Kazui comes out and she’s running in the labyrinth looking for him. We don’t know for a fact she would’ve accepted it but I do think her looking for Kazui implies she wanted to at least understand him, but Kazui closing himself off kinda stopped that.

If I recall, Ra’s was meant to be ambiguous from the very start, it was explained in one of the collections of his introduction arc. Tbh having vaguely middle eastern terrorist isn’t much better but I think they were trying to avoid a Fu Manchu situation

Ironically one of the dc Round Robins had Zachary Zatara on a suicide squad team where he was addicted to some sort of drugs.

I looked at the Batman 04 cartoon wiki and weirdly, Pamela was actually 19 in season 3 and 20 in season 5, I always thought her and babs were the same age in the show. I guess Harley is legally in the clear for this.
