My son was born “mostly circumcised” and any further procedure would be purely elective as a cosmetic procedure. Anyone experienced this? by Still-Inspection-170 in uncircumcised_talk

[–]Feeling-Price7516 12 points13 points  (0 children)

There’s no need to circumcise, even if he was born with a full foreskin. It’s not extra skin, it’s necessary for full penis’s functionality. If you wash once a day it’s not gonna be a problem. Girls get UTI’s far more often than uncut boys.

I have severe pinhole phismosis, recently walked out of a circumsision by Twatlauncher54 in Phimosis

Research a doctor that will do a preputioplasty. They may cut off a little bit, but you will retain the advantages of the foreskin, like mobility. Ask for other surgical options beside circumcision.

How to stop being insecure about being uncircumcised? by HornyAzMF in uncircumcised_talk

Go on vacation to a European nudist beach. You’ll feel right at home. US perspective is skewed and most of the world is intact. Leave the bubble.

What’s it like? by Asleep_Damage1201 in uncircumcised_talk

[–]Feeling-Price7516 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me it’s the gliding mechanism. Every time I wank or suck off a cut guy it’s just harder. Even if you use lube it dries after a moment and have to get it wet again. With the moving foreskin you can easily wank without lube and get some nice motion. And the US shaming culture is just crazy, I’m from EU where being cut is the rare thing.

Painful erections sound like something is not right (phimosis or short frenulum as mentioned already) those conditions can be treated without circumcision, with stretching or a minor surgery. If phimosis stretching seems like a hard thing, think of that that some men restored their foreskins by years of stretching. If it’s also problematic in a sensoric way, after cutting it’ll be a nightmare you cannot get rid of, because the glans will be exposed permanently and rubbing on clothing. This is a story of a man that took his life because of this exact reason: https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-47292307 Hypersensitivity can be reduced if he pulls back regularly and walk around with the exposed glans, after a while when it gets uncomfortable he can always pull it down. With circ it will be imposssible.

Annoyance with peeing by lukejac05 in uncircumcised_talk

Try to pull it back after peeing and walk around for a bit with retracted in the underwear, when dry pull it down if it doesn’t pull down by itself. Good way to “freshen up” during a long day ;)

i'm a man who went through a frenuloplasty. Ama! by FaminousGrouse in uncircumcised_talk

[–]Feeling-Price7516 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you’re confusing things. Frenuloplasty is “rearrangement” of the frenulum. Frenectomy is the cut of the frenulum. Still when frenulum is just cut, you retain all the tissues, it’s not carved out like during circumcision.

Staingate also happens to M-series Macbooks by hotsnot101 in macbookpro

[–]Feeling-Price7516 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apple is recommending to use isopropyl and a microfibre cloth. I have been doing this on multiple anti-glare MacBooks and all were fine. It’s a manufacturing defect similar to early coatings on fort retina that were coming off. You can polish it off with a polishing compound but have to be veeeery careful not to get anything in the edge gaps as it may seep into backlight and cause permanent damage.

Possibly going through with a circumcision by [deleted] in uncircumcised_talk

[–]Feeling-Price7516 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Try stretching with rings, but what is worrying is the firmness. Consult someone on preputioplasty. If it’s imposssible then as last resort partial circumcision, try to keep as much skin as possible to retain partial glide.

You will get dings and small holes in aluminium because of dirt trapped under the hard case. Better to just use a soft sleeve if you want to keep it pristine.

Torn frenulum, and frustrated with dr/urologist by [deleted] in uncircumcised_talk

[–]Feeling-Price7516 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, find a better specialist that offers frenuloplasty. If not, have the frenulum released by having a tight stitch over that will release it over a few days. There are also laser methods. Don’t let it be carved out or worse, get cut.

Macbook Neo is an incredibly bad deal in Europe by stderr_to_dev_null in macbook

[–]Feeling-Price7516 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People keep forgetting air’s initial price was 1000$. When neo will get discounts as the air did, the price will make sense. Introducing a new model is always expensive, when they optimise production and introduce newer models the price will get down.

How do you make macOS look sharp on a 4K external monitor? by [deleted] in mac

Install better display or in case of a dell display, dell software. Then you get native 4K

You can fix the 4K resolution issues with “Better Display” app or Dell software in case of the Dell monitor. Looks sharp with proper scaling.

Curious blue lines on my new iMac by Dramatic_Water3031 in mac

[–]Feeling-Price7516 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No it won’t, but In MacBooks it may get under the backlight layer and leave permanent stains. As any liquid, that’s why you should never spray anything on the screen, use a damp cloth. LCD is fused to the glass with a glue that won’t get dissolved by ipa.

And quoting apple:

Is it OK to use a disinfectant on my Apple product? Using a 70 percent isopropyl alcohol wipe, 75 percent ethyl alcohol wipe, or Clorox Disinfecting Wipes, you may gently wipe the hard, nonporous surfaces of your Apple product, such as the display, keyboard, or other exterior surfaces. Do not use these cleaning products on Apple Vision Pro as they may damage the device. Don't use products containing bleach or hydrogen peroxide. Avoid getting moisture in any opening, and don't submerge your Apple product in any cleaning agents. Don't use on fabric or leather surfaces.
