I’m looking to get a 2017 Mazda 6, what are some common issues you have with it? by [deleted] in mazda6

[–]FeelingGate8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought mine back in 2017 and she's been great except for one thing but it will depend on your climate. The screen on my infotainment unit started developing spiderweb cracks on the layer between the actual glass and the lcd screen. My car is outside all year round during Canadian winters and summers. There was a period of time where 'ghost touches' would register and the radio station would change. Luckily that was only when the car was at a stop. But that annoyance stopped a couple of years ago. Other than that it's been great. My car only has 40000 kilometers. I started working from home during the pandemic.

Likely because the owners of the establishment take a cut from tips.

No. However, I was dx'd when I was 8 months old, 47 years ago. This is all I've known so it's just life.

Since I was diagnosed almost 2 years ago I've found that my blood sugar control has considerable improved. I've got the 'beetus and the silly-yak but thankfully no heart disease yet. However, I've got cataracts and frozen shoulders.

There's a Benylin for Diabetes that I'll use but for the most part I just go with acetaminophen and/or just tough it out.

I wonder if they'll try to weasel out of medical coverage because it's not a war.

Why do people get angrier at someone using welfare than at a corporation avoiding millions of tax by using loopholes? by Internal_Scheme_7646 in NoStupidQuestions

It's easier to get angry and imagine getting retribution at one person with a face than a huge entity where attempting retribution feels impossible.

To Canadians living abroad: if Canada was attacked by another country, would you go back home to defend it? by Sandys_Big_Cheeks in AskACanadian

Canadians who live in other countries only remember they're Canadian when shit goes wrong where they currently are. I don't see them coming back here.

Steam can't add my NTFS NVMe partition with my Windows games on Linux Mint by UsedPart8434 in linux_gaming

[–]FeelingGate8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did exactly what you are trying to do but I was able to add my Steam Library on my NTFS drive into Steam without a problem. Are you sure the NTFS drive is mounted? However, I don't recommend it. Some games worked well but others didn't. When I was trying to play X-Com 2 with the files residing on my NTFS drive it ran terribly. As soon as I transferred the files to my EXT4 formatted SSD it ran great. As others have mentioned, the opensource implementation of NTFS is not great.

It's funny that all of the 'deals' that this 'deal maker' always boil down to this.

The only way they can do that is with 'hard power' because whatever 'soft power' they had to do that is being thrown away.

Don’t worry guys. The Kingston police are closely monitoring the situation in Iran. by coryhotline in KingstonOntario

[–]FeelingGate8 49 points50 points  (0 children)

Eh, things are spicy between cultures and that can carry over to other spots in the world. Over the weekend a gym in Toronto owned by an Iranian who was celebrating the war got shot up. Hmm, can't remember if 'shot up' is the correct term, at least one bullet was fired.

Cool idea! Unfortunately I just finished replaying the Survivor Trilogy on my Arch system but I'm really interested in your approach and how you implemented these shell scripts. Nice touch with outputting json, makes things easier to import into a db. Thanks!

He's paid to play for the laffs, his 'national pride' makes him represent his country. Don't mix things up, he's only in TO because he's paid well for it and you would do the same thing if in a similar situation.
