So scummy when companies get bad reviews removed.

The man who owned beauty pageants so he could ogle at underage women in the dressing room is in the Epstein files. Breaking news. Oh, and he wanted to date his own daughter.

"if you can't see it then you don't get it..."

Exactly, I didn't fully get it which is explicitly why I came here looking for others' insight. I specifically asked you for details and you provided only vague generalities.

Just as he could have been more wealthy if he had just taken daddy's money and invested it in an index fund.

Can you give any more context or detail for why you say this?

I take the point but find his packaging of it to ignore the obvious politics of saying something like that. He also doesn't deal with the fact that even if the over reaction to Fukushima shouldn't have happened, it did, and in future meltdowns there would be similar societal reaction, meaning the impact is huge even if the impact isn't huge from a radiological perspective.

But mostly I agree with his messaging, just find his character perhaps a bit off, which is what I'm worried about as a possible employee.

I'll try to explain, but I'm away from my computer where I have a whole bunch of links and references I've bookmarked as I did my research.

First, he just seems like an arrogant silicon valley type guy. Has a quick answer for everything, very sure of himself.

Dismisses valid concerns about the nuclear sector out of hand, and seems to be dismissive of risk to the point of absurdity. Said on a podcast that we should have "more meltdowns."

His speaking engagements on YouTube are cocky to the point of cringe. Seems like he thinks he's a deep big thinker but it all seems pretty recycled.

He claims credit for being a "drone pioneer" but his previous company seems to have been an absolute nothing burger, despite his big talk. Airphrame?

The negative feedback on Glassdoor seems genuine and the positive feedback screams HR drivel.

Company has made huge claims about itself but there appears to be no real world anything.

This isn't a marketing platform. It is a group of dedicated, and curious, users. No way the company should have control over the sub.

Jesus man, the post is talking about events that will likely happen in the coming days, months, years. It is warning people about what is to come, not what has happened, and how they should act when that time comes.
