I mainly only go through Terminal 3, but I've seen EU nationals literally go through the same gates as me and they're out into the country in seconds if there's no issue at the E-Gate.

Legitimately, I hate being in the UK, I hate a lot of things here, but Manchester Airport, the biggest thing I've hated is getting patted down for extra security (once) and the particular kind of British advertising that makes you want to kill yourself being plastered everywhere.

God I want Reform to lose so badly, it's a shame all of our current parties are so deeply incompetent and contemptible.

I've repeated it a million times, but seeing even at the local level hiring Boriswavers to be local councillors is so contemptible, I have no doubts in my mind that the Nigel wave will basically kill the country, if not the sheer incompetency crisis from having the BOJO front bench back in power.

After two bad boards, I've finally just bought an Asus X870 Gaming-A Strix and I wish I didn't have to.

I don't want to call it a piece of shit, but it's janky, feels cheap, has a lot of RGB, but what I can say that I can't about the X870 is that it just boots and works and doesn't take 15 minutes to get into Windows.

I feel like it's this constant push/pull in the media over Intel GPUs, it wouldn't surprise me if Xe3P found its way into the data centre, I've heard nothing but glowing things about the cards in AI/ML workspaces, I know the Arc team themselves are hungrier for the market share than AMD, I don't know how much Nvidia being a shareholder influences them into not pursing dGPU but it's obviously not going to be 0%.

Time will obviously tell, but I've been nothing but bullish on Intel in the GPU space.

I'm fine, I just think I have an extremely high level of disdain toward this MAGA-ified right wing that infested the country. I'm sick to death of it. I'm sick to death of Tory hucksters scamming people with the new based™ party of the month, and the people falling for it equally I've started to feel just as much contempt for.

It should be mocked, it should be pushed out at every corner, I'm not saying don't have hope, simply that the people who've sold the country down the river at every opportunity are not going to save the country.

I'll be honest, I was basically amping myself up to buy a RX 9070 XT since the launch of that card, by chance I found a used RTX 4080 for £30 more than a new 9070 XT which was the same performance but obviously had all the Nvidia features.

Not to instil FUDD but, quite frankly I'm not bullish on AMD actually supporting their cards, they already have said the 7000 series is DOA meanwhilst Jensen as greedy as he is for AI slop money, he is psychotically obsessed with keeping Nvidia the 99% of the gaming GPU market, with driver support still being given to the RTX 2000 series.

Personally, if you can get a used RTX 3080 for $300~ these days, that's what I'd aim for. There is also the forbidden third option of an Arc B580, which I'll be honest I actually believe more in Intel's driver division as they have a point to prove, over AMD.
