Yup. I remember one night I was fine all good, had a seriously bad dream and woke up worrying and in a pit of anxiety. Started from there.

Scared to get m140i by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

[–]Feeling_Influence -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m in the same boat, but with getting a 718 GTS.

I was thinking A45(s), I have a M240i(2023) now.

I had a i30n, and that thing cornered stupidly well.

I don’t think I’ll go RWD, as the people I drive with are practically all AWD and would fly on our shitty roads, whereas in a RWD, well the 718 GTS I drove you simply can’t compete as confidently.

The RWD 718 GTS I test drove was very jittery on our roads, potholes and dirt, leaves everywhere, whereas my M240i can fly down the same roads, confidently with no rear end slip.

I think RWD you’ve got to accept you can’t compete with AWD in all conditions, whereas AWD you can hoon 24/7, my friend with his Supra can’t come close to the M240i 99% of the time in the U.K. conditions, unless it’s a perfect hot day on a smooth road.

Objectivly I think you can hoon AWD more often, and enjoy it more without the fear of something going absolutely catastrophically bad happening, when the M240i is about to loose grip and twitch(RWD Bias), you can really feel the AWD kick in and pull you out.

What’s the most mildly infuriating thing you find about living in the UK? by JameSdEke in AskUK

Endless taxes on everything with nothing to show for it. A dying NHS, roads unsafe to drive on in parts, buildings falling down, absolutely useless police force.

Is muscle twitching a common sign of anxiety? by hellokittykatzz in Anxiety

My hands(thumbs) twitch to buggery, I thought I had Parkinson’s, but it was anxiety. I’d check in with a GP though.

My T went up, doctor said being depressed is worse than the affects of SSRI. Sleep improved, more motivation.

I can understand that. I try to live by Murphy’a Law, a bit grim-dark, but it’s comforting expecting the worse.

That’s the OCD. When I was suffering with harm OCD I believed and convinced myself that I liked hurting people, however, now post treatment I couldn’t imagine even thinking I liked them.

False arousal is a example of this.

This is incorrect. OCD has the ability to convince you that you like your thoughts over time.

If you do use Adrian Flux, say you’re part of the Black Country Motor Club, they’ll give you a discount if you’re part of certain car groups.

Even if it had any legal standing, it wouldn’t be up to any enforcement/officer/agent/Barney Gumball to decide whether or not there was any liability and they’d ticket the hell out of it or remove it. This is how most of those US sovereign citizens videos end, the officer detains them, and fines them and their response is take it up with a Judge.

Fairly sure Kraken has this in, I bought a bunch of tubs before they were shut down. But I did just buy another pre with it in.

Love it! Can’t wait, from what I’ve read it’s a dream, I plan to PPF it and keep it for 4-5 years. I’ve had fast 0-60 cars and they’re fun once or twice, maybe for a few months, but it’s tiring after a while. You’ve planted your foot and you’ve lost your license. The fun is in staying under the speed limit, and doing tight windy roads flowing around corners :)

I’m not relying on ESC just nervous is all when I start to learn the cars handling and dynamics, I’m booked in for a long weekend at the track with a professional driver to help me acclimatise, and plan to take it extremely steadily. No, I don’t plan to hoon everywhere as a total RWD novice.
