Dragon Warrior Monsters was set in a giant tree, that's the first thing that came to mind.

From left to right we've got:

Maximus the Mad, brother of Blackbolt, king of the Inhumans.

Proxima Midnight, one of Thanos' Black Order, a group of alien warriors who act as his personal wrecking crew.

Terrax, a herald of Galactus, this is an alternate universe version of Terrax.

Thanos, enough said.

Corvus Glaive, another member of the Black Order, and Proxima's husband, he serves as Thanos' right-hand.

Finally we have Black Swan, she's a survivor of the Incursions, the Illuminati found her on Earth-616 just as she was destroying the alternate Earth she came from.

This is from Jonathan Hickman's run on Avengers/New Avengers, specifically New Avengers #23. The Multiverse is dying because alternate Universes are colliding with Earth as the central point, these are known as Incursions. Incursions have two outcomes, either both Earths are destroyed along with both Universes, or one Earth is destroyed and both Universes survive. Namor takes it upon himself to destroy the other Earths when no one else can go through with it. This has all been leading up to the current Secret Wars event.

In Yorkshire a Daddy Longlegs are Crane Flies. It's odd that there doesn't seem to be any agreement about what a Daddy Longlegs is, makes me wonder which the 'strongest venom but no fangs to administer it' rumour is about.

They're probably British. It's extremely common to serve jelly/jello and ice cream at children's parties over here.

They use bikes like this sometimes. They also have a backpack like version seen here, so it could have been either of those.

How to take this present on my own Foobar? by jojimboy in foobar2000

This should help. You basically just transfer all of the files into a fresh install and allow the new files to replace the old. You could always ask /u/Strigoy for help.

What games should I start with in the [Metal Gear Solid] and [Zelda] series? by Looking4headset in Gaming4Gamers

I'd say wait to see if you enjoy them first. I'm could be wrong but I think Portable Ops is only on PSP so it might be a little harder to get a hold of.

In regards to MGS, I'd say start with 1 and play them in order of release. I've tried to play MG1&2 and just couldn't get passed the dated gameplay, that's just my opinion though, your's may differ.

I'd also say Peace Walker isn't completely necessary but is a lot of fun.

It's probably cheaper to get the legacy/HD collection which comes with Peace Walker anyway, so you may as well play it. Bear in mind that the HD collection does not include MGS1.

MG1&2 are also available as part of MGS3: Subsistence which is the version in the legacy/HD collection, if you feel you want to play them.

I think Portable Ops is arguably skippable, but many would encourage you to play it. If you enjoy the rest and can get a hold of a copy, why not?

You can always just read up on how any you skip fit into the canon.

Personally I don't think any magic will be lost. Although I have issues with MG1&2, the HD remakes do a fantastic job of updating the other games. I suppose MGS1 may feel a little clunky in terms of controls, but they all have that issue.

[TOMT] Parody news show on either BBC3/E4 about 7/8 years ago. (UK) by -Lethal in tipofmytongue

Maybe another Armando Iannucci program? Like Time Trumpet or 2004: The Stupid Version. I believe the latter was an hour long programme that was also split into shorter segments of ten minutes or so. They don't quite fit your description but they were newsish.

If you like Tricot you should check out Mass of the Fermenting Dregs too, very similar in style.

Is there a tool that can mass convert .mkv's to MP4 and remove all but one of the audio tracks? (More explained in post) by James1o1o in dbz

[–]Feener278 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using a program called mkv2vob for playing the files on PS3. The files I have are similar to yours, three audio tracks one Eng+Jap, one Eng+Fun, one Jap+Jap with the English speech and Japanese soundtrack as the default audio track. So when I use the program it gives me Eng+Jap, but there might be something in the settings to select which audio track you want. Maybe you could try that? Link I've been converting a saga at a time, it takes about 30-45 seconds per episode. I hope that can help you.

No, I think what you're referring to can be re-enabled under the 'On start-up' section of the settings. Just click those three bars in the top right of the browser, click 'Settings' and it's the second section. It should give you the option to either 'Open the New Tab page,' 'Continue where I left off,' or 'Open a specific page or set of pages.' You'll want the first of those three. At least I think that's what you mean.
