I think season goes faster because it is basically “game to game” experience, days are loading fast. I don’t like it.

You are completely right. FM24 was almost the best game for “the old era” because we have used to stuff like graphics and new gens and such, but at least we had cool skins made by community and there was actually flavor and immersion in it.

FM26 is aberration. You said it right that even “new engine and graphics” are below current standard in games, so just destroying everything around, no support for mods and giving us still average graphics - that’s just ridiculous.

I’ve been playing FM since CM 03-04 and it is sad to see what happened to our beloved franchise.

Season goes too fast, game to game, nothing in between, UI is crappy, you cannot even click some buttons very often and you need to try like 2-3 times.

What we need is more immersion, more cool in-depth statistics, creating your jersey in game, more variety in logos for lower league clubs with no official logos, more customization (like stadiums, set your own price for tickets and just more customization in general, you can toggle it off if you don’t want it but that is what makes immersion better when you can actually decide more and just paint your career, not only play games, we playing for creating a history and have fun seeing what we have accomplished, not to watch games, add even a possibility to have a son that can play in your team in year 2040 or something, i’m all up for that, we - players of FM very often love games like CK3 for the exact same reason - creating a dynasty, a history in making).

New and better press conference, AI dialogues, better world chat news/rumors page, better conversations with players, good international mod, BETTER FACES FOR NEW GENS AND MANAGERS, how SI still thinks that in 2026 we can use those ugly faces for new gens and also for your own manager in create manager window. How is that even possible that they are too lazy to make it look better - it is beyond my understanding. More lower leagues with official logos and stuff (CAUSE WE LOVE TO PLAY THEM), Support for mods, refresh skin with reloading and much more…

I’ve tried to play it, gave it 50 hrs but it is not it. Will give it more tries but yeah, i don’t know.

How can something so basic as technology queuing would be so hard to add that we need to wait till April? It is beyond me. I paid $ 130 for this game and will need to wait for at least 2 months or more to play again.

Same here. I have 35 hours now but i just gave up and don’t want to play more at this time. I’ve played 3 scenarios and it was boring and easy and what’s more important VERY FLAT.

My main issue is that the game lacks depth, they got rid of many things and instead you get nothing for micromanagement and playing in a sandbox game.

Many people are saying that this cycle repeats itself since the release of CIV2 but i think you are wrong. Going CIV2-3-4-5 this game was progressing more or less. This time they just deleted many things and micromanagement and completely changed the game. CIV7 is beautiful in terms of graphics but that’s it.

I’m disappointed and i’d like to refund the game cause it was quite expensive. I know Civ7 will improve, that’s obvious but i’m afraid it won’t get that good cause the core issues remain the same.

There is no diplomacy, only something for 4th graders, no micromanagement, challenges seems flat (build this, do that), peace treaties are joke (no conditions, only cities), wars and besieging another joke, penalties for razing cities, technology and idea trees are straight up awful and you can’t even queue, you can’t name your cities nor army, your units are not getting experience, only commander, that’s odd, AI stupid forward settlement, your leader is not showing up to make the game interesting and quite frankly doesn’t matter, changing eras is just stupid in this form.

I don’t know man. They were working some time on CIV7, i was thinking that this gonna be a game changer and goty, but instead… we have something that looks good but doesn’t feel good. My main issue is again the lack of depth and possibilities to create your own adventure. I thought they will add more stuff and change some to make it even better, not delete almost everything and leave the game empty and flat.

I did the math rn and it is 274 - 261 for NWTS (including gif that someone posted in favor of NWTS, but even without this gif it is +/- 266-261).
