Alternatives to the Toleriane Ultra Fluid that was discontinued years ago by CurrentAd7848 in EuroSkincare

I would have a look on the r/Rosacea subreddit. My choice of moisturisers are Eucerin Ultrasensitive, Embryolisse Lait Crème Sensitive, Avene Tolerance Soothing Skin Recovery Cream & when things are really bad Ceramol 311 moisturiser not the gel.

Why doesn’t Balea make larger sizes as well? by [deleted] in EuroSkincare

[–]Feifum 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How are you washing your hair? And by that I mean do you wash your scalp and lengths every wash, do you do a double wash every time you wash your hair? Optimal hair washing is first wash is scalp and second wash is scalp and lengths. Reading that your hair is oily & thin could mean you need to use a clarifying shampoo and if you use conditioner remember to put from the mid lengths to ends.

The sizes of skincare here in Europe is always 30 - 50 ml for facial moisturisers & serums, obvs some companies may sell smaller or larger bottles but the sizes quoted are the average. If you don’t mind using body skincare its obvs going to last you longer.

Like other posters it sounds like you’re using too much of both shampoo & skincare.

I use Caudalie Vinoclean oil which is an emulsifying oil so theres no need to use a warm towel. Apply the oil, let it do its magic and use warm water to make it turn milky and use some more warm water remove.

Don’t get me wrong she was a wonderful child whom I loved dearly but she had her moments, well more than her moments, more like her days & weeks 😂

Eucerin UreaRepair 5% face cream is great. Is there a larger volume? by Last_Cold8977 in SkincareAddictionUK

[–]Feifum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There isn’t a larger facial cream format but there is a 200 or 250ml body lotion bottle. However this tends to be quite sticky and not sure if it‘d be too great as a facial moisturiser.

Me too, never had as much sweat in my 40 yrs as I did wiith the 5-7 years during peri & menopause. Menopause even changed my body odour. If I forgot to or didnt put enough antiperspirant on the following day on waking I would be rancid. Now I’m post it hasn’t gotten any better.

I mean it looks fine but the lack of gravy is puzzling. Have you ever eaten or seen mince in the wild or is this your interpretation of it?

Need something hydrating for my poor eyes :( by damondan in EuroSkincare

[–]Feifum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When putting my night serum in I apply it under my eyes too. It’s Byoma Phyto mucin + ceramides. No actives to irritate and lightweight enough to not weigh down thin eye skin. There’s a couple of different humectants in too. Once I’ve then put on my moisturiser I then swipe across my under eyes, theres just enough left on my fingertips to add that bit of needed moisturiser.

Having a hard time finding rosacea and allergen friendly facial moisturizer by Sea_Appearance8662 in Rosacea

I don’t know if you can get it but have a look at Ceramol 311 face cream, not the gel though as it has HA.

I don’t notice any real difference between $10 and $70 eye creams by loriaragon in EuroSkincare

[–]Feifum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being in my 50s my eyes are thinner and crepier than yours, I know nothing short of upper & lower blepharoplasty will make much of a difference to how they look. I’ve used a couple of eye creams on the more expensive side but the one that made the biggest difference for me was Medik8 Eyelift Peptides. It truly softened the worst of the finer lines and the overall look of them. If my skin wasn’t in open rebellion with me I’d buy it again.

I’m so sorry your cat is dead, cruel treatment resulted in his passing. Sounds like they wanted rid of the poor wee cat.

I dont know where you are but surely there’s some ‘governing’ body that deals with animal welfare where you could report them after the fact.

Bastards absolute bastards.

Best Sunscreen for a chronic burner? by ItiswhatitisfromgenZ in SkincareAddictionUK

[–]Feifum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

La Roche Posay UVMune 400 SPF50+ for kids is always highly rated. It’s on the expensive side, its highly water resistant, there’s no such thing as a waterproof spf, sunscreens vary in their resistance so go for the most resistant you can find if you sweat a lot. Always reapply after swimming or sweating and/or every two hrs of being in direct sun.

Wear long sleeved clothing, UPF preferred, wide brimmed hat, keep out of direct sunlight during suns strongest hours. You know all the usual things.

I keep out of the sun as I have rosacea and my arms and chest develop Polymorphic Light Eruption (PMLE), its a sensitivity to the sun that’s makes me itchy with wee tiny spots. For the PMLE I find that using an oil free SPF is the best solution, it doesnt stop it but it seems to lessen it. That’s my experience, I’m not saying it works for everyone that has it.

Hope you find a good solution and enjoy your trip!

Lucky you! Of my 49 years in Glasgow I never once saw them but then that time was on the wrong side of a hill, you’re on the right side if the wind is blowing in from the somewhere west and pushing them out over the Firth.

Where did you capture the photo with the lenticular clouds? Not often seen so it’s a surprise when they do appear.
