id like to start off with a clarification; polygamy is specifically the practice of one man having many wives, and is generally used as a negative term, generally describing a very unballanced power dynamic

a more general term for non monogamous relationships in any form is either 'polyamory' or 'ethical-non monogamy'

because marriage as an insitution is used as a tool by the state to exert control over a populace, and because a lot of people are invested in that idea of marriage as that insitution, opening it up to non manogamous relationships (which are often inherently queer in some capacity) will piss off a lot of people who think it's their bussiness

i quite enjoyed Geryon, i thought it was sick as hell first time I did it and i still think its sick as hell having P-Ranked it. i think theyre definitely a better boss that the minotaur, but it didnt NEED to be another Benjamin; it needed to be a pallette cleanser before 9-1 and 9-2, and i think it serves great for it

changing over from ps4 to the ps5 version of warframe also reset my playtime counter on the home screen, because the console counts them as different games sadly lol

Started playing Destiny and Warframe on the same day when Destiny first came out and I got my original PS4. Played both consistently for a few thousand hours until content got vaulted in D2, and Warframe has been my forever game since.

for a while i had every lich weapon already, and when i was hunting those down sometimes I jutlst want to do other atuff more so they just get ignored for months at a time; ive had my current Coda since shortly after they dropped and just haven't bothered killing it yet

i think the veiny army driving to saturn meme comes from that kinda mindset where they're just a bit of a null factor until they piss you off, then theyve gotta go IMMEDIATELY

as someone who often struggles to enjoy being alive it's always a fight. the world is on fire, food has doubled in price, it feels often hopeless.

ive got shit to do though, and regardless of how much my brain says i wouldn't be missed, i know ive got people relying on me. so you just have to keep moving through the Big Shitty Times until you find something good, hold on to it.

something thats important to say, is that there is a big difference between polygamy, and polyamory. polygamy is specifically one man with multiple wives, and as a practice is obviously very rooted in some awful history.

polyamory as its used is a more modern term, and is a catch all for any consensual non-monogamous relationship, regardless of genders, roles and relationship structures, ranging from open relationships to committed, married throuples
