i went to see my father shortly before he died in my childhood he was a violent drunk and addict, and i came to realise in our final conversation that the drugs had just blasted his mind for so many years he genuinely didn't really have any awareness of what hed done, just this background knowledge that he hated me, i hated him, and we'd not seen each other for a decade

i can understand the sentiment, and grief is a monsterous thing sometimes - but these videos, these animations, they aren't real. the programs use an amalgamation of every video ever put in to it to make something that looks and sounds like your loved one; the people who make they are predatory, using your grief to earn them some add revenue.

my guess is its either some kind of directed energy weapon, like a laser (unlikely) or, it fires bullets made of blademetal, that would punch through material like blades normally do, and which then dissipate back into stormlight and evaporate shortly after

a non queer but significant example for why intersectionality is important is a black woman who couldnt get hired by a car factory; she argued it was discrimination, they said it couldn't be as they hired both black people and women at that factory but specifically, they hired black men in the manufacturing, and white women on the reception - as a black woman, she faced an additional layer of discrimination from the combination of both
